We knew we had to try We decided to do the hardest room at Puzzle Break - Escape from Seattle, The World's Fair Affair We had a group of 6 with varying levels of experience with escape rooms (it was one of our friends first room while two of us have done more than 50 rooms) and the room felt perfect for the size! There were a lot of moving parts and lots to do in to this room so nobody was really standing around. We thought the room had a great balance between technology and analog. Puzzles were logical and hard in ways, but solvable and doable! We all had a really great time and got out with 16 minutes to spare! Communication/organization is key for this room Mason our game master was great and helpful! There was also a giant lounge to wait in for our game to start with tons of couches, games, puzzles, and water. A great escape room at a great venue! Would absolutely come again and would love to do Puppeteer's Workshop in the future

Big props to the Puzzle Break team for allowing us to keep our time as they encountered a same day issue where one of their rooms was damaged. They handled it very professionally and we were still able to keep our time slot so we're thankful to the team. We had 8 people and surprisingly, most of us had something to do the whole time. Everyone had a part to play but some parts we partnered up to accomplish faster. Easily a room you can do with 4-8 people with moderate difficulty, with the more people making it easier. Puzzles were fun, a few challenging ones, but overall pretty linear progression without weird redundancies that can happen with some other escape rooms. This room is great to bring friends who are new to escape rooms as there are still a few surprises (not in the scary sense). Thanks to Puzzle Break for a great time! I didn't book the room so I didn't get the name of the person my friend spoke to but during our experience Neo did the introduction prior to the game and guided us on time when we asked (we only asked for one hint so there was minimal interaction on that part). As someone who hasn't lifted a brush since grade school art class, I was skeptical that I could produce art that would come close to resembling the example. I felt a bit stressed but mostly enjoyed trying something new in the midst of good drinks and good company. While the pacing was a bit uneven, Laura walked us through everything clearly, while also fielding questions and answering them satisfactorily. In the end, I would say everyone produced a nice looking painting, and it was fun to notice the different "styles" between people. I'm happy with my end result! Even if you think you don't have an artistic bone in your body, if someone invites you to this, I recommend giving it a try!

The lower-level parking structure right next door has many conflicting signs. Even the staff at Locurio weren't sure how to help us ensure free safe parking. Have to buy something at the nearby supermarket to get validated parking? Not sure. - Wish they allowed each of us a prop to hold for the photo at the end. Good thing I brought my own.

The room design was pretty simple. Production was simple. But... puzzles were a good mix. Really had to think outside the box for some of them which I appreciate. Brent worked closely with us to make sure we understood the process of submitting customized trivia questions. It was also so fun to have different kinds of trivia (standard, misfits, frenzy modes and more), and they have so many amazing mini games to sprinkle in amongst the trivia sections. Our guests weren't expecting it and loved it. Also, 100 League's control boxes are the best - the design is so smart, the four arcade buttons feel perfect, the emojis-as-teams concept works perfectly, and it was great not having to worry about guests using their phones as controllers (wifi / network issues and low batteries were never a concern with the control boxes). The rooms are fairly dark and we struggled a bit with seeing some of the hints. Fairly linear order of solving puzzles relative to some escape rooms so having a larger group is not an advantage and letting the kids get a stab at some of the mechanics may not be recommended for the more competitive groups. This was not a top 5 escape room but somewhere in the top quartile. They had some very cool interactive programming that was impressive. Some of the video sequences were on the slower side with a slight lag. The Harry Potter theme was def a plus! In Seattle region the top 1 is still Locurio - Storykeeper. But wizarding school was better than some others I been.

We only used one hint in each room, the puzzles were challenging but not so difficult that we couldn't solve it. They were also very unique, definitely not traditional puzzles and the decor made them all the better. I wouldn't recommend doing more than a party of 4-5 players, there were some puzzles that some of our party couldn't quite join in on or having too many cooks in the kitchen made it more challenging than it needed to be. Our game master, Mindy, was super sweet and helpful and only offered hints when we asked. We're interested in trying out the other rooms the next time we're in Seattle!
