Highly recommended. There is a great selection of frames and mats, all very high quality. The three times that I have gone there has been the same guy (possibly the owner). He did a really good job and the turnaround time was only 7-10 days. He was even available to ship the frames though I chose to just pick them up a month later. I liked the job so much I brought my us open pin flag to him so I could have matching frames, it's easy to spend a lot of money on frames but he will work with you so you are satisfied with not only the finished product but the price as well. What an incredible store. I needed two custom frame jobs fast as gifts for my parents. I was leaving town Tuesday morning to go out of town to get married. The owner helped me pick the perfect frames and matting for my job. I wanted text printed and framed along side the pictures and he sized and printed that as well as scanning in perfect quality and printing the photos to be framed. I'm heading back today to have our Ketubah framed. This is a large watercolor painting in Hebrew calligraphy that is our actual marriage contract. I highly recommend this store for any special framing jobs - old photos, documents, ect. There are endless options for frames and matting- some more expensive than others. I had a recognition document that I wanted to frame for a relative, so I brought it to The Great Frame Up in Springfield. It came out spectacular. He helped me select the right matte boards and frame and when he put it all together it was perfect. He even did it on a very tight deadline. Far less stressful than I had thought it would be. I had considered online framing and even Michael's but I was less than impressed with the options which tended to be more standard and less unique, and there was virtually no cost difference. Needed a piece of art framed in a rush and had never dealt with getting any art framed. The staff had an obvious love of art and showed me all of my options. The matting and the frame he suggested made the painting "come to life" and really looked great. Staff was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and knows how to really make art look incredible. The price was even lower than some of the "big box" stores that offered the same services (although I doubt they have the same passion and expertise).
