My issue was with my laundry outlets and I wasn't sure what the best course of action was-replace the whole plug, install an adapter, etc. The electrician walked me through all my options and was very honest about what they would recommend. They also pointed out some issues with my house's overall set up that I had not been aware of (a surge protector for the entire house, I had no idea that was a thing!). For every option they provided a detailed breakdown of the cost and labor involved. He didn't push anything on me and was happy to answer (or go over again) any questions I had. He left me with my options and asked if I'd prefer they follow up with me or if I'd get in touch with them once I decided how to move forward. I was super appreciative they didn't push me or try to get me to agree to something before I was ready. Also- they were safety-conscious which I appreciated. They wore a mask the entire time and even booties over their shoes for the benefit of my carpet. Instead spent little over 1k for them to replace 5 sockets and test house. I was gonna do the rest of them. When they left replaced them and still nothing. Then to come find out that they took my fan down in my bedroom and put it back and now 1 light don't work. They also took some siding off and didnt put them back. I had an electrician buddy I work with come out and he found the problem within 30 min. He also didnt charge me anything close to 1k for that. Very disappointed. For everyone here.
