We got our drinks - they were delicious. The music was great - the bars were kept a secret until right before we left which added to the anticipation and excitement. At every bar, there was a game to play and fun prizes to win including spider necklaces, candy, and glowing prizes. The photo op was great and everyone was really friendly! We loved the light sabers and signs letting us know when we were about to leave. Our group, the blue group, went from Mirage to Downtown Sports Bar to 606 to Stilllife to Mirage. It was really fun and something we will be doing again.

Some of the seats have pedals and some don't so you can take turns throughout the night. Pedaling was not too hard if you're worried! You also make ~2 stops for ~20-30 minutes each so you definitely get good breaks. We went at 9:15pm in November so it was a little chilly, but the trolley had a plastic cover for the trolley to block the wind and a small heater - I recommend bringing layers! They have a cooler on board and have overhead storage for bags/purses/jackets. Dylan was our driver and an amazing host! Some members of our party were running a few minutes behind and he was more than willing to accommodate and wait to start. Would recommend to any group of friends looking to try something different on a day/night out!

I've taken my parents to shows here and love that there is even a space for them to sit down if they need to. There are some steps/bleachers along one side wall for people to take a rest. This is so rare for a standing room only venue and so appreciated! Motorco has many great beers to choose from as well as a full bar and alcohol free options. There is definitely something for everyone. There are two bars one of which has a streamlined selection for fast service while the other is full service offering their entire menu of food and drinks. They serve food! I have not ordered food there yet, but everything looks and sounds amazing. It's also just a cool spot to hang out there. You can grab a beer and/or food and sit outside with your dog. I think of Motorco as a place for everyone.

One of the girls demanded that I delete the photo. Naturally, I refused. It's perfectly within my rights to take a photo of people in public. It is not a good photo, and I would not have used it for anything because of its poor quality. But since it shows that I was not taking inappropriate photographs and it shows the image of the young man who grabbed my phone and threw it in the street, I will share it below. I had a very good time this night up until the weirdness at the end. Your doorman was a perfect gentleman and did his job. However, I was not causing the disturbance, the girls were. I have never been treated like this before and I hope that it never happens again.

I was a little hesitant to book another tour based on my prior experience. But I follow Heather…read moreLeah, and her Raleigh Hidden History tour sounded right up my alley. I lucked out and found a parking spot at Tap Room. It is a small lot, so it may fill up quickly. There is another lot behind the building to the side or street parking is available. There was a street market, so it was harder to find. I did double-check that I could park at the bar when I checked in for the tour. Restrooms are available inside, and food and beverages can be brought on the trolley with a few exceptions. I liked this tour as we got a history lesson while the trolley was moving, and then we got to get off at different stops for a new perspective and not just looking out the windows. I still enjoyed looking out the windows and took some photos from there that weren't part of the tour. St. Agnes Hospital was our first stop. The stone hospital was rebuilt and opened in June 1909. It was during the Jim Crow Era for black citizens, as they were not allowed in white hospitals. We also stopped at the Heck-Andrews House. We learned of a secret tunnel and that there used to be a baseball stadium where a parking lot sits today. Devereaux Meadow was a minor league baseball stadium. I never knew a grand "Castle" (the original Meredith College) once stood near the Executive Mansion. It was a hotel and state office buildings at one point, too. It's wild that it's just a parking lot now! We got to see one of the trolley stops of the Glenwood line. It took people to Bloomsbury Park. It had electric lights at the trolley park. There was even a roller coaster, carousel, and a dance pavilion. Heather was an amazing tour guide and shared her knowledge and love of the city with us. I look forward to taking more tours with her.
