I was not allowed to try on the underwear in the shop, yesterday,so bought it in good faith as it was the medium size in the same make that I had had previously. Yesterday, Erin handed me one receipt, and kept the one which apparently states the no return policy on it. She did not tell me about the no return policy. I went home and measured the underwear against what I had bought as 'medium' size in the past. It was definitely smaller. So, today, I returned to the shop for a bigger size. Erin, the owner, relayed to one of her assistants that I could not get a refund nor exchange the underwear. How strange that one of the assistants said I could try on the replacement underwear today in the shop!? Both assistants have different policies from Erin. I am completely at a loss. I always thought that Erin at Gatley operated on an ethical basis in a responsible fashion. I did not experience a worthy transparent business practice today, which I thought Erin was proud of. I am so disappointed and frustrated at being treated in such an underhand way.

When I was there I was the only person in the store, so I felt very comfortable when I was trying on dresses in front of the manager and my boyfriend. She helped me chose my dress and was perfectly on the line between giving me time and space to decide, but also telling me how gorgeous the dresses looked. I felt no pressure to purchase, but when you try the right dress on, you know! She also had shoes in store that we very modestly priced, a cute pair of loafers only $40. Other, short dresses were more copious around the store, as well as jewelry and tops. I didn't have time to explore all the racks, but any upcoming occasion I have I will no doubt be returning here first. Cheapest prices, cutest, trendiest clothes and the sweetest girl running it all.
