Very interesting shopping experience tonight. I was waiting in line at the photo counter to pick up…read moremy order. Angel took some time to locate it, then offered to ring me up. While he was doing that, I looked over my order and asked about the hole punching. He said he could help, but then started assisting the customer who had been waiting behind me. I asked if he could finish ringing me up first since I was already being helped. He told me I could go to the regular checkout line instead, which would have meant getting back in line behind several people. I was confused and frustrated because I had been waiting before the customer behind me, and Angel had already offered to ring me up. When I explained that, he said he didn't want the other customer to wait, but I was left waiting too. When I thanked him, his response was something like "yup," which came across as dismissive in the context of the interaction. Afterward, I saw him laughing and gossiping with the manager about it. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, and I left disappointed with the customer service. There's a lot of good food and drink options. There's just a lot of toys and dishware. There's lots of great finds throughout. Obviously it's going to be a little more expensive than Japan, but these are going to be items that you can't normally find at your normal markets. The location is fairly big and they have lots of fun statues throughout the store. There is plenty of parking in the back structure. But he can't get busy, especially when it's a popular time of day. She answered any and all of my questions and provided me with a few donated containers for my purchase. So far, the star of this visit are the scented lotion and hand wash. Can't recall the name. But they are pricier than the other products. I don't care at all. I LOVE the scent. As a matter of fact, I'm going in this weekend for some more of the hand soap. I have it in my bathroom (foaming pump) and my kitchen (regular hand soap pump). I also diluted it to use as a shower gel. YES, doggone it!!! I'm kinda addicted! This is one of those places that you should actually do a personal field trip to. It will change your life. Believe it. Highly, highly recommended! UPDATE: I went back in for more hand soap concentrate and some retinol serum. By the way, soap and lotion brand name is "Further". Alyssa assisted me and she is an absolute DOLL.
