His empathy, politeness, helpfulness and plain hard work were evident, as he measured my brother's feet to ensure he got the right size (my brother walked in wearing sneakers that were too big), and picked out several options for my brother to try on. Lo and behold, the first option Christian picked, fit my brother like a glove and were so comfortable that my brother didn't need to try any other pairs! Christian also displayed patience of a saint assisting my (indecisive) mother find a pair of shoes that she liked (they happened to be out of her size on the style she wanted), as she wandered throughout the store. What's even more impressive was that this young man was assisting other customers in between helping my brother and mother. There were some other employees on duty, but, during our visit, they were apparently in the back, and not directly assisting customers - at least not to the extent that Christian was. That level of service is extremely rare these days, so it is refreshing to experience it. Hopefully, Christian is working when you visit, so you will get to experience it too.

What you will hear is "it will cost you a $200 a service call" even if the equipment was just delivered within days and there is a problem using it! No compassion and they are dealing with vulnerable customers. We were even told that they need to make a profit so don't expect any help without paying $200! High pressure sales but once you pay, forget about getting any support. There are comparable products (new!) on Amazon that are price competitive and Amazon accepts returns. Try eBay if you are looking for a used piece of equipment. Better prices and delivery can be arranged.

It was flapping with each step because the heel piece had separated. After looking the shoe over I realized one of the front treads was also not attached. I fixed it with some gorilla glue. I never buy anything regular price here; the prices are inflated. Sales can be quite good here, however, especially out of their clearance merchandise. I scored one pair of Sketchers wedges for a mere $12! I was disappointed that they were out of a Sketchers wedge in a pretty blue color combo but they offered to order it for me online. That would have been awesome but a few days later I received an email that the shoe wasn't in stock and they would refund my CC. Talk about disappointing! My CC was refunded but I really wanted those shoes! Not sure why original order went through but then later they were out of stock. I will also say that although the sales people here were super nice when I brought my purchases to the register and in doing the online order they were initially really stand offish and didn't greet me when I came into the store.

I would love to find another comfortable brand of shoe that can handle long walking distances but I never seem to find much in my size. The styles are a bit pricey and too fancy for my liking plus the shoe section can be an absolute mess with shoes not in the correct spots and all over the floor. I completely disregard the clothes because a few times I've seen a sign that says an item was under $39.99 and then you look at the price tag the Nordstrom rack price tag, and it was over that amount so I was very confused by this. I also don't like the style of the clothing in here. It's just not my cup of tea but that's fine. It might be for others but they do carry the shoes that I need so that's why I continue to come here. I've also never seen an employee greet me ever only when I'm checking out. Very odd.
