I expected to just drop off the watch and wait a week or so for the bad news. I was told to wait a minute for the watchmaker to examine it. I had to step out to feed my parking meter. By the time I returned, the watchmaker passed my watch back to me... new battery and he re-tuned the watch's tuning fork. Working perfectly... $50. MY WATCH STORE FROM NOW ON!

With a broken earring I wanted to wear to my daughter's wedding, I took it there to be repaired. I explained it was for my daughter's wedding so I had a real deadline for it to be done. The woman at the repair desk was helpful and told me it would be done by the deadline, 4 days before I was leaving for the wedding. When I called the day it was due to be done, the person answering the phone didn't look up my specific repair but told me they'd call when it was done. I called the next day, only to discover due to a delivery change (I was in their Natick store and learned repairs are done in Boston) it wouldn't be back in Natick until after I left for the wedding! The first person told me, after checking with Boston, that I could drive there and pick it up. That would have taken me 2.5-3 hours, not time I had the day before leaving for the wedding. That's the best she could do. I then asked to speak to the manager. While relucant to do so, they put me through. The manager was so helpful! She thought through the issue and came up with a creative solution, that did not require me to get to Boston that day but got the repaired earring to me in time for the wedding. The manager was warm and thoughtful. Now, just pass that kind of creative thinking to others in the store. Thank you for restoring my confidence in Barmakian's and treating customers well.

I believe it's his way of trying to make you feel like you're welcome and it's like just coming to home and saying hello. It is no way to push you out the door. I have sat there chatting with him for two hours at a time. His work is impeccable, personality, incredible, and his family has been giving part of the community for years. As many should know, in this state age, it is hard to find a quality jeweler, let alone a jeweler who has an apprentice under them to take over someday. If you want quality, the fact of the matter is you have to wait for your peace to be finished. I promise it's worth the wait!

Yes, certain watches (Rolex) are hard to get but this business epitomizes their supposed exclusivity...and I know why! They are not exclusive; they just don't have any new stock. They flaunt their supposed exclusivity because they have extremely low new Rolex stock in the store (or perhaps it's just in their DNA). All the new in stock Rolex watches I saw were older and undesirable models. Rolex typically only slots the best new stock for the best AD's, and Date and Time is not one of them. Instead of working with the customer, they pretend to be an exclusive AD. Date and Time is hands down one of those AD's that will likely treat you like dirt (they did it to me) unless you're a long time customer or they decide that you fit the mold of their "exclusive customer". This store is an epic fail!
