THE GOAT, so good we went twice! We came to Manchester for work and was stayed across the street from The Goat. My daughter had told me about this place she said they had karaoke and bands and was an overall fun place. I had hesitated attending during previous visits because of the three star Yelp review grade. I do not think these reviews do The Goat justice. We had burgers, one day beef one day chicken both amazing, delicious margaritas and beer, and amazing tumbleweeds (which are shoe string onion rings). The only thing you shouldn't get is the desert. Cookie was old and we returned it. It's a sort of cookie w ice cream. They didn't have ice cream and cookie was old so skip! However all employees were fantastic and so polite. I can tell there are regulars as I saw same people two days in a row. Many fans they are doing something right at The Goat. read more

The Goat was one of the places recommended by our Lyft driver. He was a fan of the bucket of bacon. I got the grilled cheese/Goat Melt with pulled pork on rye. OMG, it was so good. I got it with tumbleweeds (onion rings but finer in size). The tumbleweeds were very greasy--probably wouldn't get that again. They have one of my favorite beers--Golden Road Mango Cart, I had to get one and wished I had gotten another one instead of the Drunken Frappe. It was a waste of money--I didn't taste any alcohol. We were going to play pool afterwards but five minutes after we put the money in, the manager told us that they were going to have line dancing. The manager refunded us the money. It was fun watching people line dance, my colleague participated but I just watched. It's a cool hangout spot, I would visit again. read more

It's a country bar with lots of space. We came for lunch after a convention across the street. The hostess was quite but polite. Waitress was friendly as well. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Sat at the bar. Bartenders were solid. Some really good lunch menu options. I saw a woman walking around and interacting with customers and staff. Figured it was one of the mangers. She came over and introduced herself. Her name was Sarah. She was incredibly friendly and professional. The Goat is large country and western venue that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have a full bar. The TVs are located to make watching while dining easy from anywhere you sit. They also offer live music, karaoke, trivia nights and more to make it a great place to hang out with friends. I visited for breakfast. The staff was very pleasant. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. I would go back with friends in the evening though, because it seems like they put a lot of effort into making it a fun place to be. read more

Location Location Location! When in downtown manchester, staying at the double tree, we tend to head out left and hit the town and bars. However, the last night visiting on July 3rd, we hooked a right and ran into the Goat! Best decision of the weekend, I think! Decor: It feels like my hometown Wyoming country bar. Plenty of seats, an excellent stage for bands, pool tables, and plenty of room to roam around when not packed. Food and Drinks: We each started with the sledgehammer, which tasted like an amped-up Mimosa, blood orange vodka; it was bright and refreshing! The app, we tried the bacon-wrapped jalapenos, and they were pretty tasty, and you could tell they def did not come from a freezer! Because it was so hot and we had a large lunch, we chose a burger and split it. There were so many choices! We opted for the big big bern: cheese, avocado, and some kind of sauce. We asked for pink, and they delivered. We did ask for tumbleweeds and a side of fries, but only the weeds came out, and in hindsight, that was just fine. The burger was juicy and seasoned very well. The weeds coulda use a tad bit more salt, but they are still great. We asked for a side of their goat sauce, and I wanted to take it home with me, hahaha! Service: Sitting at the bar is the best for ppl watching, and hubs and I love chatting with the bartenders. Rania was fantastic. They are very unorganized (even before the crowds started), don't tell you that they are running a limited menu until you order something not on the limited menu (mind you, they handed us drink and regular menus and walked away, never saw anyone for 15 min). I came here with my friends for a birthday dinner and drinks this past Saturday. We had reservations for 6 p.m. for 12 of us and I must say that the staff did a very good job of making sure we were seated on time. We were even given a large table off to the side so we had a good view of the live music. Our waiter was great; very personable and made sure that every one in our group was taken care of (even after a couple people showed up late). We stayed for about four hours and no one ever had to walk up to the bar to order another drink. He was great! The drinks on the other hand were ehh. My mixed drinks were pretty sugary and had little-to-no alcohol. I would probably stick with beer if I come back. As for the food; their menu is loaded with stuff that makes you want to cheat on your diet. My friend ordered a burger which used grilled cheese sandwiches for buns. A few of us ended up splitting the bacon bucket, pork belly, tenders, and fried pickles which were all delicious. No complaints at all with the food! read more

If you want LAZY bartenders who spend all their time on their personal phone instead of serving customers, then this is your go to place. Add a manager who is clueless as to what is going on in her bar (maybe she should spend some time in it) and you have my experience. Much bigger than any of the other locations which was a nice surprise - I didn't feel like we were hovering over anyone either at the bar or at our table. I think staffing is a huge issue since when we arrived we had to wait about a half hour to be seated even though there were about half the tables open...the wait times only got longer after we got seated and started our meal. The food was up to par - just as good as the other locations; the burgers will always be my favorite. We tried some Fall-inspired cocktails as well and they were both good (the Smokey cider was really good!). The only real issue we had was service - it was just really slow because the servers were overworked and it was easy to see. They were all running around and trying their best to keep up with everyone. We didn't mind, but multiple times our server would come over and ask us if she was supposed to bring us anything but forgot (she hadn't). And when she brought over the second round of drinks they were the wrong ones...still good but not what we ordered or were expecting. Overall I love the Goat and I'll be a loyal customer but the Manchester location needs to get a few kinks out before it can be a 5 star location. read more

The second time I've been here and again, awesome. A rustic cowboy bar-like atmosphere. High top tables and a large bar with plenty of seating. She was like Barry Allen in real life and returned in moments with a fresh order of the right tots. You know in the cartoons where the roadrunner scoots away and there's just a cloud of where he used to be? That was our server. She wanted to correct the issue ASAP and we appreciated it. She let us keep the first plain tots so my best friend and I were Crunchy Potato Morsel KINGS for a night - I wanted to include our servers name in the review but 1. When she introduced herself originally, there was a little ruckus from the next table and it got buried. And 2. We went in after the reptile expo at the double tree hotel today to try their brunch. The atmosphere was pretty nice and the live music was good.
