Nex-Gen Windows & Doors - The current broken window.

Worked with Ted Rajewski at NEX-GEN and it was a good experience. He was patient with my mom, who…read moreis elderly, and went over everything with her more than once until she felt like she understood what she was getting. He didn't talk down to her or try to rush her into anything, which I appreciated. Easy to get ahold of too. Would use them again.

Having your window pop and shatter suddenly without cause is a startling experience but what is…read moremore shocking is the absolute horrible customer service and blatant disregard for their warranty and care for the customer. And that is what sold us on this company. We have had one of the 2 shattered windows replaced but it took around 6 months to get it done. And this one that is still broken and waiting to be replaced... we have been waiting nearly a year and can't get a call back or an update. To add to the troubles, the initial install ended up being awful. It looked great for a bit but all the windows have gaps and dirt and air pass through and they are a MESS!!! Mike from Nex-Gen came and walked through everything and agreed the installation was not good. And he promised to get the replacement in quickly for the broken window and would fix all these install issues and wrote everything down and apologize but, that was nearly 5 months ago and we have called and have gotten NO response. My husband calls the company and NOTHING is ever done. We don't even get a phone call back, they say they are checking on the order and will get back to us. Good thing we don't hold our breath. This so called lifetime warranty is a joke! It is only good IF the company actually calls back and actually follows through. And what is so maddening, the warranty and good customer service is what sold us. Talk about bait and switch.

Great experience from start to finish. Stormy the sales rep…read morewas knowledgeable and great. Always helpful and informative. Casey and the install crew were the best. Casey has got a talent with working with people and his crew. Very positive and happy. He let me watch, video and pester them with questions on a window install so I could learn and do other windows myself (ya right, like that'll ever happen. I'll wait to save up and just call Lomax again). You should know that I do a ton of investigation and research. Looked into 5-6 other options and had 3-4 other reps come and give me their pitch. Everything from Anderson high end, to Home depot mid range to the cheapest of the cheap places to just replace the glass etc. I found Lomax to be the sweet spot; *very* good quality window for the price ... Sierra pacific. We love everything about them (pop/tilt in to wash, lip to open, smooth track, edge and overall design is very nice, warranty etc). We replaced 20 windows (3 big, 14 med, 3 small) including 3rd story with sloping hill (hard to reach), 4 stucco windows (very difficult with stucco bands). They were done in 2 1/2 days. Very courteous, laid down mats and plastic over everything, moved our furniture, took down and replaced blinds, washed the windows, vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves. Even gave suggestions and advise on other renovations projects we asked about. All told 20 windows for about $16K (discounts for doing more than 5 windows). Overall feels like I've put on a fresh pair of underwear that makes me happy and will last me another 20 years.

The team at Lomax Windows was great. We had a problem with Sierra Pacific products (that Lomax did…read morenot install). Donovan was responsive, adjusted the doors/windows that addressed the problem. Customer service and knowledgeable team members were greatly appreciated. We will definitely use Lomax for any future window/door needs. Thank you Donovan!
