Another broken cabinet hinge

BUYER BEWARE - If you have a major remodel to do, I'd look elsewhere. These guys talk a great talk, but we worked on a large project with them (3-4 months) and it was a total nightmare. First of all, the number one priority for us was to find a vendor that could build us a loft due to our high ceilings. During the consultation, Koby and Talor swore up and down that it would be a piece of cake. Two weeks later, they call letting us know that it's not really possible. To start off a relationship by lying/not doing your research isn't great. After we moved past that to a different design, they let us know that the floor sanding that we had in the contract wasn't really possible either. We were getting used to them not following through on their word, so we hired a different company to do our floors. They made promises around timelines of work being completed, materials being delivered, all of which were complete crap. We started working with them in February, aiming for a May move in, and they promised the timeline would work and at worst, they'd have small details to finish up while we were moving in. To this day, August 23, the work STILL isn't finished, and they have stopped responding to emails, calls and texts. The design for our closet was never completed, so we have boxes of shelves sitting around, hoping we can find a handyman to finish it. Most of their installations were not done well. We have light fixtures falling out of the wall and cabinet hinges coming apart just a few weeks after we moved in. We also asked them to take a look at the electrical work done on our hot tub - their version of taking a look at it was to completely cut the wires, which they denied doing over and over until we threatened to take the issue to court - then the owner called us to apologize. They told us they would take photos of daily progress every day and upload them to their app, which literally never happened once, and they said they'd do a final walk through to make sure we were satisfied with the work that was done, which never happened. Baron sent us a form to sign to signify that the work was completed, when it hasn't been, and there are many installations that were done poorly. If you want a mediocre job done, go elsewhere and save yourself a grand or two. If you want a stellar job done with a company that values customer service, take Baron off your list immediately. We made the mistake of trusting all of the positive reviews when we decided to go with them, but this is a 100% authentic review. Do NOT pay these guys top dollar, because they do not do top work and will ghost you when they feel they've done a sufficient job by their standards.

We definitely made the right choice to hire Baron construction for our bathroom project. We were very pleased with the consultation, design, demolition, construction and completion of project. Thanks to Koby and his team for accommodating our request and taking care of business. Great experience and great work.

Completed bathroom.

I worked with Koby from Baron and it was a great experience. I made multiple request over the job period and he was fully accommodating. This was my first remodelling experience and I naturally had lots of questions to which Koby patiently explained. At the end of the job, I had some minor touch up requests and they came by multiple times to fix it. All in, great experience!

Inquired about an estimate, provided what was needed. However the response I received was if I resided alone or with a spouse/partner. I felt the question was highly inappropriate. If in fact the owner was simply inquiring as to who makes the decisions (as he says he was), he could of went about inquiring in a different manner.

I was very pleased with baron construction, especially Etel's project management. She was very professional and accommodated our quick turn with this remodel. She was attentive with my concerns and responded quickly with questions. If something didn't work, Etel went beyond to do the research to figure out a solution. I would recommend Etel to anyone.

Not the most Choice of clienteles shop at Menards. These particular customer's are ravaging the store during a health restrictions. Tripling the essential workers burden. It's super sad, I only go there when I absolutely have to. I used to go there 2-3 times a week.

Love Menards and their deals…read more Christiana at the front desk (blonde/middle aged woman) had a foul attitude and found humor in the loss of thousands of dollars of plant life in the woefully neglected garden center. No intention of speaking with management. Joked about them being over watered. Cold snaps, whichever way they put it- the garden center is abysmal. It's beyond depressing. Other shoppers spent more time remarking on the death counts of plants instead of shopping for them. Crispy ferns. Dead monstera. Fruit trees dead in their planters and wilting. Corporate needs to know that they are bleeding money by not taking care of their products, and it's a shame because the selection would be nice if they would just... water them. Not laugh and tug themselves around when they could just simply hook up the hoses and give 10% effort. Idk if they are short staffed or what, but even the garden center manager is "aware" of the issues and each time we've gone in (3-4 times this month and a half for home projects) the situation is getting worse and worse. They just let the trucks dump the plants off and leave them to die. Why take care of something and give customers something of value when they could just hope someone can save one off the truck before it winds up at the morgue for plants. Look at the photos. Tells you a lot. And again- talked to staff. They even find it funny. They don't care. Just- tremendous waste of life. Both with speaking with the care desk and with how they handle plant life.
