We hosted our baby shower here & loved it! Easy access & full control to decorate! I would say if you have a lot of decor (we did) definitely plan for about an hour & a half for set up. It was a little warm when we arrived and we had tried to turn on the little fans that sit in the corners (these do not work, we didn't know that) however, i texted the owner & she immediately cooled it down for us! We were a little caught off guard with next door also having a baby shower so a lot of our guests were confused on which door to walk in. We didn't mind at all! I would suggest just letting anyone who plans on hosting here to keep in mind next door might also have an event. Cleaning up was easy & everything is provided for this part. I would suggest to the owner maybe getting a commercial broom over the green one. Outside of that, our guests loved the venue & if we ever have more events to host, the gathering place will definitely be our first pick!

The Gathering Place is definitely as it sounds! While it is a bit far, it is quite a nice and clean space that you can rent for a certain amount of hours whether it's for a small party or to take pictures (there is a Photo Booth that you can take pictures in and have it texted to your phone or have it printed)! The rate is $100 an hour for renting the space which is pretty reasonable given the size of the place alongside you can comfortably fit around 40-50 adults and kids as well! Overall, while this place is more of a 4.5 star from me solely due to the fact that it is quite far, the interior and price per hour for renting out a building is reasonable and is a place I would consider again in the future! Do note that an hour prior, if there is another reservation, you will need to clean up quickly for the next reservation to come in!

I had my babyshower at the Gathering Place in the Market Suite. It's a really cute accessible venue with nice decor to have an event. The whole process was very smooth! I mostly spoke with Karyssa who was very responsive and helpful. They provided a list of vendors who they typically work with and I used 3 on the list-they were all amazing. The check in process is very easy-they give you a code to get in and you just let yourself in at the time you booked for and start your set up. There is also a detailed check out list that was easy to follow. When I booked the space I didn't realize you couldn't have alcohol, which ended up being fine for my event but just be aware of this if you are wanting alcohol at your event. I didn't see this anywhere on the website but maybe I missed it somewhere. Also the smaller suite that I booked (The Market) I think was too small for my 50 person event. I put out 4 standard size folding tables with chairs all around them but it turned out everyone wanted to sit down almost the whole time but there weren't enough seats. Knowing this now, I probably would have booked the larger suite for my event.

Here is why I would recommend Cobblestone Cottage (from a male perspective who has never been to a tea house). (1) I called for Easter Sunday reservation 4 days prior to Easter. I imagined the place would be booked, yet instead of the host who answered the phone simply stating they were sold out, she said she would see what could be done to possibly get us in and have someone call me back. (2) To my surprise, the owner (Arsine) called me a day later and also stated they were full, yet she stated she wanted me to know she was going to keep trying to see if she could juggle reservations and get us in. (3) Yet again, the owner remembers to call me the following day and secures a reservation. I was shocked that she remembered and knew she was making every effort to create a memorable moment for my mom. (4) My mom unfortunately had accident requiring hospitalization and we had to cancel our reservation. The owner actually called back to ask how my mom was doing! Wow...that was amazing display of heartfelt care from a busy business owner. (5) The owner worked with us to find another day that we could arrive after my mom recovered. Upon arrival, we were literally greeted with open arms by the owner. Literally this woman was there to ensure all was well. Her service team was a delight and equally attentive. The other patrons were smiling and clearly also enjoying their experience. And most of all for me, my mom kept smiling in gratitude and admiration of a lovely afternoon. (6) And final note, the food and decadent sconces, soup, salad, sandwiches, and desserts were DELICIOUS. As it turns out, the owner is a chef. Arsine is a class act when it comes to hospitality. A visit to Cobblestone Cottage is like going to your favorite relatives house and being embraced and cared for like family.

The bar mitzvah boys favorite drink is the virgin Shirley temple and everyone was red one in his honor. The matradee was also helpful and attentive with setting up the event and keeping the evening moving. The only issue was the dj was not the same do my sister met with initially at the booking. The dj she had didn't understand all the small extra requests that were made. We did a candle ceremony thanking all the important people in his life that made him who he is before cutting the cake, lifting the bar mitzvah boy up on a chair with his dad, and the horah. These are things done at all bar mitzvah to celebrate the 13 year old becoming a man. We had the garden room and the space is huge. We not only had the extra space of high tops by the bat, the extended outdoor space and there was even a small empty room for kids to get a place to run around. The dance floor is a little small but we were no more than 70 people and most of the tome the kids were outside playing the lawn games we brought.

I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.
