I actually found out about them at the Cincy Magazine Best of the East event as they had a booth there. The people at the booth were so kind, and handing out coupons to stop by their store in the future. I visited recently on a day I was doing a Tour of Milford. There is a gift here for everyone! The main room has so many things! There is Jewelry, baby and kids items, a wall of socks, purses, I mean honestly so many unique items I cannot list them all. They have cute seasonal decor in the second room, cards, sports stuff, frames, and again SO MUCH MORE! The owners are the sweetest people and the prices are reasonable even without the coupon! No matter what you buy, it is packed in a cute little gift bag with tissue paper to take home. If you were buying something just for you, this makes you feel like you gifted yourself!

It's located on Madison Rd. in the Oakley area and I easily found parking on the side street on a Monday afternoon. The store was larger than I realized (two storefronts, I believe). I admired the jewelry and saw many items that would make great gifts, from humorous wine-themed dish towels to unique monogrammed floral tiles. My favorite item was a topiary-type tree made of beautiful blue eggs... a little pricey, but I may go back for it!

Hubs and I are a sucker for local wood products, especially since we are DIY crafters ourselves. Rustic meets modern here with the several choices of wooden door signs, bar decor, centerpieces, charging stations, state shaped frames and more. What started as an Etsy shop in 2013 has become a full blown store front with the cutest pieces. I ordered a script name online to be picked up local but they also ship. I scoured the internet for days looking for this specific type of script sign and found Pinecone Home to be the most affordable and with a week turnaround time. The owner even contacted me before she started my piece to recommend going larger since the name was long. She added 5 inches to make it look better AND didn't even charge me for the extra. So awesome. My kiddo and I picked it up exactly a week later and found some cute wooden magnets for $1 in store. They also have a DIY workshop to create your own pieces. I am so, so glad Anderson finally has something like this!

The store layout is fine, wide aisles, organized sections. Even on a Saturday it wasn't too crowded. The staff were very helpful and actually knew where certain things were located! The trying on rooms had adequate mirrors and one worker even allowed us to open an item that was sealed in order to try it on. Nice. Prices are fine, pretty much par for the course when it comes to costumes. I remember thinking how strange it is that back when we were kids, none of this stuff was around, save for Cappels. And I don't remember them having as wide a selection as every store has now. I would recommend getting to this place sooner than later since their stock will eventually consist of a few Spongebob Squarepants costumes and dracula capes. BTW, all sales are final, so think hard and long about that neon pink wig that you are about to buy. I believe all credit cards are accepted.

My hubby bought me one of my most prized possessions here - a necklace with a circular pendant showing a map of Cincinnati. It comes in silver, gold or dark gray/black and you wouldn't necessarily know it was a map unless you took a second look. It simply looks artsy and elegant. You can also get it as a set of earrings. There are so many locally made goods and most of them have something to do with Cincinnati or OH. I particularly enjoy their kids/baby section now that I have a little boy. Although I've been very tempted, I must say I haven't splurged in anything for him and I'm not sure I will....
