Items are often misplaced and if you are lucky they are somewhere in the same area. Still wastes plenty of time I check on-line if item is available and bay and aisle number not to wonder for 20 minutes trying to find it. After spending thousands of dollars on materials and tools last half a year or, perhaps tens of thousands of dollars on parts and pieces over last decade including appliances and installations I'd assume that I may had earned the right (or was it the privilege pardon my French) to be treated like somewhat valued customer or anyone close to it. Guess not yet, perhaps never. Gal answering the phone was extremely condescending. All I asked was to fix their "Clearance" price on-line if she is unable to honor it. She did neither. Just interrupted me while I was still talking, wished me a good night and hung up. Ok. There are few other stores, not many if you prefer to actually grab your items not from Bezos-Mart, but they are still there. Being polite is not expensive. Showing empathy in customer service environment used to be considered a virtue unless you are affiliated with Verizon. Oh well...tis what it is. Appliance quality also went down. Fridge from 2015 served almost 10 years before needing minor repair, the one from 2025 barely lasted 6 months and although it got fixed under warranty it took almost 3 weeks, few days for initial show up and to diagnose, then time to order the part and then come back to install plus 2 fool fridges of wasted/thrown away food in less than a year. Think hundreds of dollars. Maybe it is not me it is them ;).

Over the years I have had to return three things. All three were nightmares to return with hassle, "come back tomorrow when a different manager is here," system isn't working right now come back later, excuses, call this number, etc. I gave up 2 of the 3 times and it has costed me hundreds of dollars for defective items. Corporate customer service, when called, apologizes but doesn't step in with options or assistance. Of note, all returns were within their return window and within their return policy. They just chose to abandon their customer for the service part of the equation.

Sometimes, his mouth smells like an outdoor fish market on a hot summer day. He tries to lick inside of my nose, and when he succeeds, I get no satisfaction from anything I eat or smell for up to 4 hours. This is probably his most major defect. The smell issue was once compounded when he returned from outside having found something dead/decaying/from hell to roll around in. I couldn't find the source, but he could, and continued to do so occasionally for weeks. Does not seem to react well to water. Begins to shake and squeal. I would say, he's pretty attractively designed, but everyone's tastes are different. I have been told that he's adorable, and also that he looks like furry Bob Newhart on stilts. He currently dons a plastic cone, due to an unfortunate allergy to low-calorie dog food, which I suspect to be an intentional form of protest. Once, he ate a bag of sugar-coated ibuprofen and survived. Due to this, and the fact that he has held up well over the course of several cross-country moves, I can conclude he is made of quality material. Requires upkeep, food, pets.

We had been spending all of our landscaping dollars at this business, then, as he was checking out, my husband encountered a social dilemma. The lady, blondish and middle aged at the checkout, was going on and on, gleefully discussing with a customer ahead of him, elated at the thought that Donald Trump would be going to prison. Literally doing a happy dance. This was in summer 2024 when a judge gave the jury bogus instructions. This ruling was later overturned by a higher court. But, back to the moment in time at that checkout stand. My husband was appalled that she would bring politics into her workplace. We figured the folks here were of a different political persuasion than we were, but no big deal, we get along with all types, right? But she took it over the top and just totally disregarded the fact her customers come in all types, including conservative in a rather conservative area. We haven't been back, because we just found her behavior so unprofessional. Would rate 5 stars for products and horticultural knowledge. They even give free classes! Customer service, though, at the checkout area should not include a side order of TDS.
