But because of his quality and value, there is great demand for his services, so it did take a couple weeks to finally get an appropriate time to actually replace the garage door. So I wouldn't mind paying 25-50% more (especially since they offer financing) if he did so choose for a faster service. He even threw in a free lock for the garage. It wasn't an emergency to me, so that probably colors my review. But seriously, dude, you can probably raise your prices just a bit more, and I think most people would be happy.

He gave a reasonable price for just the head unit and we scheduled the work. 1st appointment - had to re-schedule as they couldn't make it. 2nd appointment - finally made it out and looked at the unit and said what he had wouldn't work and said he would need to get pricing from his manufacturer for whole new setup. I mentioned that we talked about it being a larger garage door before he even came out. Why didn't he tell me up front that what he had in his warehouse wouldn't work? It's been days and haven't heard from him. I guess if he can't sell you an old stock warehouse garage door opener, then he wants nothing to do with you. I feel like this was a bait and switch situation as the other companies were more expensive. I've texted him several times and have not heard back. At the very least, ANY communication could have prevented this review. Oh well, on to the next company!

Chris offers straight forward and reasonably priced estimates and repairs for any issue you may encounter. Out of nowhere, my garage door would not open more than 12 inches off the ground. Doing a quick internet search it appeared that a spring had broken. I called several different repair services and was quoted $1200+ for the repair. I finally called CD Doors in Westerville and spoke to Chris. He asked that I text pictures of my door and the spring mechanism, made a quick diagnosis and quoted me a price 1/2 of what other repair services offered. Chris arrived first thing the next morning, thoroughly explained and showed me the problem and repair, then got to work. In less than an hour he replaced the faulty spring and lubed all of the hinges on the garage door, the spring mechanism and pulley track.

The guy was very nice, polite, explained things to me and walked me through twice a year maintenance I should do (lubricating) to ensure everything continues to run smooth. I asked about getting a new opener, and they install those too, but said I didn't need any track, springs, etc.. everything else looked fine. I almost went with someone else, had a coupon from a competitor. Came to yelp, and the reviews of that company weren't great, but Door Depot had much better reviews. So I called them, because you get what you pay for. Maybe I could have saved $20? Maybe spent more? Who cares. I'm very happy with them!!
