Garage door broke wanted a new one since the old one won't close. They had to come out to make sure it was truly broken so I had a an open broken garage for 2 full days. First day they came out they were an hour before the scheduled time and I wasn't even home. The second day, no one even showed up to install the garage door. I definitely do not recommend them, but if you need someone Grove City Garage Door seems to be wanting business! read more

The reasons this has to be the BEST in the business: 1. They are experienced & do a great job 2. Service Response time is usually same day 3. The pricing is unbeatable Four years ago used company to replace my garage door opener. Recently had spring mechanism repaired/replaced for less than $100. Save yourself some money, time & headache, come here for your garage door needs. read more

Seriously, they were great!! They responded same day to my home to look at the garage door opener. They diagnosed the problem, had the necessary parts to repair it. The guy was very nice, polite, explained things to me and walked me through twice a year maintenance I should do (lubricating) to ensure everything continues to run smooth. I asked about getting a new opener, and they install those too, but said I didn't need any track, springs, etc.. everything else looked fine. I almost went with someone else, had a coupon from a competitor. Came to yelp, and the reviews of that company weren't great, but Door Depot had much better reviews. So I called them, because you get what you pay for. Maybe I could have saved $20? Maybe spent more? Who cares. I'm very happy with them!! I highly recommend Door Depot, and will use them if/when needed in the future. read more

I chose this company based on its positive reviews. I called and made an appointment to get a quote to replace my garage door last Monday. I called when they didn't show up after the scheduled appointment and they apologized and we set up another appointment on Friday. No one showed up again, so I called and left a message and have not received any reply. I guess I got ghosted?? read more

Had a spring break in the cold cold of winter! I called, we setup a spring replacement and they walked me through all the important things I hadn't thought about. Did I have an insulated door. Was I planning on replacing the door (springs don't transfer). In shOrt they showed up the next day and it was Done. We got back in the garage and there was zero mess. Perfect experience. read more

Door Depot replaced two springs on my garage door 11/20/2023. The technician arrived when scheduled, had work completed in less than 20 minutes, and the invoice price was exactly as quoted by Scott, the owner ($189.00). This was a competitive price and far lower than abc company or xyz company. HIGHLY recommend Door Depot - Mike F. read more

Called this morning. They were here by early afternoon. Fixed the door. Charged a fair price. Will definitely use them in the future.

Recommendation from my neighbor (I'm looking for GDO replacement myself): When I had a garage door spring break last year, they came out within 90 minutes and charged me $150, which was $60-$100 less than other places I called. It's a father son operation read more

I highly recommend Door Depot. They were out in a couple hours after me calling Scott. The repairman, Wu, said my door could be repaired and I was back up & running in an hour. Save your time in calling other garage door companies, Door Depot is the best at a very fair price! read more

I noticed that two rollers on my garage door had come off the track. There are a handfull of things I won't tackly aroung the house and garage doors is one of them. I called at 10:00am, Scott picked up the phone without having to go through an automated receptionist. We discussed the problem and he said he would have someone swing by around 1:00. At 1:00pm, I got a call that Tom would be there in five minutes and he was. Not only did he fix what I knew was wrong, he fixed what I didn't know was wrong, like the tension on my garage door opener chain. I can't recommend this company enough. They are exactly what anyone would want from a service provider. read more

Requested to get a estimate on line. Was called about 2 hours later by Scott. Set up a appointment for 10am on June 2, 2021. At 11:20am I called and Scott answered. Evidently Scott does not do the work calls. He said he would contact the person who should of came. I told him to forget it. In my world a "no call, no show is reason to terminate". I'll go to another company for my new garage door opener. read more

Very happy with the service Todd provided today. We were in a pinch because the bracket connecting the garage door opener to the door was tearing away and doing more damage every time we opened and closed it. We needed help and fast. I called late in the day and Scott asked a lot of questions to diagnose the problem and had Todd come out the next afternoon. Not only did Todd find a way to reinforce the connection point and the damage to the door with materials he had on-hand, but he spent extra time evaluating the door opener and determined that it was pushing down too hard when the door closed, which was the root cause of the problem. Now the door is solid when it opens, and glides into place just touching the base when it closes. It was a quick, durable fix and kept us from having to sink a lot of money into 15-year-old doors that we want to replace in the next couple of years. Very knowledgeable and trust-worthy. Fair price and also offered other repair options. Will call again and recommend to others. read more

Great customer service, efficiency and great price. Our garage door spring snapped in half yesterday and we started calling around to many garage door repair companies. We had a person come out from another company within a couple hours but they were charging double and the customer service was not good. Have saved their information !!! read more

I sent pictures of my garage door and how it was behaving to Door Depot and Scott replied quickly with his suggestions (based of the pictures) and provided a quote. He didn't hassle with me, his response was straight up his thoughts on what the problem was. Speaking to credibility, it made me believe he would be the best choice. I was right. The gentleman that came out to repair my door (I am so sorry to have forgotten his name) was SO informative, respectful, and worked quickly to provide resolution. My door was up and going in no time! It was very reasonably priced and recommend these guys/ladies to anyone needing a new door installation or repair of a clunky one! read more

They checked all the boxes-- on time, best price, courteous, quality parts, great installation, etc. I'd call them again.

Quick, professional, no surprises, good work, (now I need forty more characters to finish my review).

I called Door Depot early in the morning and Scott answered and said that they could come out that day. "Wu" came that day and took care of our garage door opener. Awesome service. Guess where I'll be ordering new garage doors when I'm ready? read more

Called another garage door repair service. Once. Then followed up twice. Did I mention they serviced me in 2008 so I would be a repeat customer? That was three days ago. Called Door Depot at 5:20 tonight with my situation. The kindest gentleman walked me through my issue and delved my problem over the phone. Done. Hooked for service via Door Depot. Thank you for making my night. With less than 60 seconds time invested Door a Depot found a new long term customer. Me. Next time I need help I know who has my business. read more

The first company I called wanted to charge me $500 for a whole new garage door opener. Door Depot was able to repair the existing system, saving me hundreds of dollars. And came out the same day with super friendly service both over the phone and in person! I would use them again in a heartbeat for my future garage door needs. read more

Ok so Scott is the best. Hands down. Best price, best service! We found this through yelp, so feel it's our responsibility to let all yelpers know how we feel. The work Scott did for us was above and beyond what we could expect. We wish they could do more but they are the garage guys. read more

My garage door would only partially open so I called Door Depot. They came out a couple hours later (on a Saturday). Andrew inspected the door and figured out it only needed some lubricant. He lubricated the chain and that fixed it. I had the lubricant on hand so no charge! If/when the door needs to be repaired or replaced, I am calling Door Depot. Quick and honest. read more

I met with Scott who is the owner of Door Depot. He provided a quote for the front garage door and advised me he would give me a quote for the back door the following morning. When I didn't hear from Scott after 3 days I sent him a text to follow up and 2 days after that I left a voicemail. I then left one more message after that requesting follow up and to date have not heard anything from Scott or anyone else at the Door Depot. Given the other reviews on listed here I was expecting amazing service and quality products but have receiving anything but that. *********************************** It is important to note that I was never advised of a change in the type of payment that would be accepted by the vendor nor was I given the option to pay completely with cash. read more

We needed a repair on a Saturday, I called at about 11am, talked with Scott, explained the issue and he had a repair team at my place at 2:30pm. Worked out great, had it fixed in 30 minutes. Great service, thanks read more

We had an excellent experience with this company. The owner came to do our estimate and he was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He was able to give recommendations for what would look nice and work well for our needs. We were having doors replaced on an older carriage house so we didn't need anything fancy and he didn't try to push us to buy what we didn't need. Three days later they came out and installed our doors and inspected our garage door on our attached garage too. (That was complimentary and it now runs quieter than ever!) We were extremely happy with the service, product and efficiency of this company. If you are looking for a great company to install garage doors, look no further, you have found one! read more

Excellent work!! My new garage door looks wonderful and I could not be more pleased with the great job in completing the job. They were able to almost perfectly match the color of the door with my new gutter system that I had installed, so the garage REALLY looks nice! I definitely recommend this company if you are looking to have any garage door work completed. read more

Door Depot had great reviews on Angie's List that they totally lived up to. Got a great price on a triple-insulated door and belt-drive opener w/ wi-fi and battery back-up. I called up, the owner came out for a free estimate and to measure the space the next day, show us the available colors and add-on options (painting to match/windows) and also made sure the door was the right size so that panel didn't get cut-off. We were supposed to get it installed the following Tuesday, but the door apparently came in dented, so they called and rescheduled for Thursday (it was great of them to fit us into the schedule) Only took a few hours, and they hauled away the old door and opener as well. No hidden costs, no up-sell attempts, just good quick service and a beautiful new door that opens SO quietly. Highly recommend them - love that they're a local company so they seem to take a lot of pride in their work and everyone I dealt with was so nice and down to earth :) read more

Wonderful customer service! We got home from work on Monday and opened the garage door no problem. But it wouldn't stay down. Turns out that a spring had broken and the pulley was messed up. We can only have repairs etc done on the weekend since we both work full time. Called Door Depot on Friday afternoon and tech was here by 7am this morning! By 7:30 am we had a working garage door at a more than reasonable cost. Very happy. read more

Great experience. Called at 4:30 on a Thursday when our garage door broke 2 hinges and would not open or close with my car in the garage of course! He was out the next morning by 9 and had it fixed in 30 minutes and sounding better than it ever has. And for a lot less than I thought! read more

The torsion spring on one of our garage doors snapped and needed to be replaced, so I called Door Depot. Got a quick answer over the phone, exact pricing, and an appointment for the next day. They showed up, replaced the spring, did a little reinforcing and were off. Quick, easy, and reasonably priced. My only minor quibble would be that they put a Door Depot sticker on the wall of my garage, which fortunately came off with no residue. I'd definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. read more

Door depot and Scott are amazing! A couple years ago the spring broke on our garage door and we used another local company and had it replaced. A few months ago a random part on our garage door broke and our door would not open/close. The previous company we had used refused to fix the part and was only willing to completely replace the entire garage door opener. After calling several other companies, I received the same response. Our garage door opener is an old model and no other company would even consider fixing it. I called Door Depot, spoke with Scott, and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and honest! He found the discontinued part and scheduled the repair the next day. For comparison, I also got A quote on a new garage door from Door Depot and it was at least $100 less than the other quotes that I had received. The repair man that came to our home was friendly, and had the repair done in under an hour. We will be using Door Depot for any future garage door needs!!! read more

Garage door decided to slip on one side. Well, at somewhere around 50 years old, I started to slip a little too...only it continued! The door; however, jammed and wouldn't go either way. We called someone we had dealt with before and they came out, did an assessment and gave us a price. Whole thing is they didn't at least straighten the door so it would fully close. Called Door Depot and they came out same day, gave us a price and adjusted it so it was fully closed. Guess which company replaced the door? Good price and very carefully dismantled the old door (there was a collector's vehicle trapped in the garage) and after the vehicle was moved elsewhere, replaced the door. The new one is QUIET! It all took a while but we're very happy with Door Depot. And guess who we'll call next time! read more

Door Depot lives up to their reputation!! Friday night the spring(s) in our garage door failed with a bang. I called Saturday morning and spoke with the owner Scott, and he provided some great recommendations. We had an enclosed spring system, which Scott explained has a higher failure rate, and recommended a tradition spring system. Either solution was available, at around the same cost. Scott told me there was someone already in our area, that could come out and assess the situation, and provide service. An hour later Lang arrived, and provided a fair quote, based on what I had researched already online. He said that one spring is all that was required for the repair, but gave me the option of a second spring for the system. I opted to go with that solution, as it provides redundancy, distributes the load, and was offered at a reasonable price. I appreciated the honesty and quick service, There were no high pressure sales tactics, just honest dialogue . Lang completed the job in less than two hours, lubed the wheels and hinges, and left the work area neat and clean. I was very impressed with the entire experience. Keep in mind, I was extremely fortunate to have Lang available in the area to provide such a quick resolution. Even if Lang was not available immediately, Scott promised to have someone else by early afternoon, if the previous job ran over. I strongly believe he would have. Additionally, Door Depot also provides warranty with their work, which I feel confident in, based on my experience, and many other positive reviews. Thanks Scott and Lang for the great costumer service from start to finish!! read more
