    Lemon drop!!

Omg best customer service from Kristina. Came out here on a random Monday night at 11:15 but damn does she know how to make a killer Lemon drop! Nice local bar with great drinks and good food selection around we just missed the closing time! Had a great time!

I deliberately was looking for out of the way places i had never been just to check them out. I came across this joint and wanted to give it a whirl. I stepped inside to a vintage watering hole. It was really pleasing to see somewhere that was vintage and quiet. Wasn't too sure about the clientele that was there, i saw someone that looked like a hooker, another one that looked to be on something illegal, and another who looks like he's there every day all night drowning in beer. So I order a drink, and after the bartender walks away I played a few dollars that were in my pocket for recreation. Bartender walks back and states " oh I comped your drink but now i can't because you didn't play enough". "That'll be $6" I just gave her a blank look because I wasn't playing to get my drinks comped that's why I waited till she walked away to start playing, so I really didn't see the need to point that out ...just charge me for my drink without the commentary. Afterwards she proceeded to tell me that this is a cash bar only. Keep in mind I didn't see any signage around that warned of that. She also said that the ATM was right there if i needed it. Gee thanks. I didn't quite want to pay an ATM fee to pay for a $6 drink so I cashed out of the machine to cover my drink with cash since it's cash only (in 2019). If they're simply doing it to avoid fees they need to get with the times because they still charge what everybody else charges for a drink. It's still $6 for a Jack and Coke like everywhere else so there's no benefit to the customer for them being cash only. I mean aside from its clientele and the fact you pay cash for every drink and cant run a tab- it may have been a good place to hang out. I ended up going somewhere else after 1 drink. I dont think this place even had food. I'll pass on this place

    No luck

The glorious Double Down Saloon. In the modern era of glitzy, flashy, and ultra processed Vegas,…read morethe DD will provide you with an absolute respite from all of that the moment you walk in the door. This is a glorious punk-oriented dive bar. That should be real clear from the distance you have to travel into a very undescript section of Vegas to get to it. On the outside, everything should already be screaming YES to you if you have a taste for great bars like these. For example, the first time I ever visited, on top of the marquee bill was Jello Biafra. Yeah it's like that. The music, the vibe, the crud - it's all on point. The cocktails are colorfully named and presented (I'm sure plenty of reviews will highlight the toilet shot) but I'd say they're kind of the weakest part of this joint. Just stick to straight booze, rejoice that you're not surrounded by as loud AF bachelorette party on a casino floor, and get hammered in the "Happiest Place on Earth'.

Fantastic grungy dive bar in Las Vegas!…read more I honestly can't believe it's taken us so long to check this venue out, especially since concerts are always free here. Our favorite punk band, The Mormons, happened to be playing here which is what drew us in. Loved the atmosphere with dollar bills and some R rated photo strips hanging around the bar area along with various stickers & graffiti filling the rest of the space. Truly feels like a quintessential Vegas dive bar. Bartenders weren't overly friendly, just there to do their job, but they served beers / cocktails quickly. We had a few PBR's which were $5 each. Fellow patrons were really friendly. I even made a friend during the show! For anyone with sensitive ears, the speakers are LOUD, so be sure to bring your ear protection. I loved the loud music, but my husband was suffering a bit. As per a usual dive bar, it is also smoky inside. If cigarette smoke bothers you, snag a spot near the entrance since they leave the door open for fresh air. This was everything I expected from a dive bar with a small stage for cool bands. We'll be back!

I think I didn't take more than $200 for the entire trip. I typically only bet on sports back then. I was beckoned by the 50¢ beers and the tasty 1/4 pound all beef hot dog here. I still get these to this day. So I remember having only about $15 in my wallet and about $60 in the bank. And I needed to ensure I had money for gas to make it back home. After 2- 50¢ beers and playing video poker down to my last 75¢, I hit a Royal Flush which does not trigger the bonus without max bet....which would have been $1000 if I had played $1.25.. But I didn't have $1.25. I was down to my last 75¢. Nonetheless it was still a jackpot to me even though it was $187.50! Almost enough for my truck payment at the time. This made the trip totally worth it after getting beat down on sports betting. The beers are still $2-3 and shots of Patron are $7. By far the cheapest place to get your buzz started, and right on the center of the strip behind Flamingo hotel and casino. The store on the backside is among the cheapest as well to buy jugs of water, single beers and snacks. It is a dive bar/casino and I feel absolutely comfortable here. Heavy security at the entrance and they ask you if you're going to the store or the casino. Though anything you buy you must leave at the door. It's a tiny casino with maybe a total of 25 slot and video poker machines. I will say, if you are looking for ambience or nice decor don't bother coming here.

It gets themed for Halloween and Christmas, meaning a special menu and lots of decorations. There's live music every night starting at 6pm on weekends. I'll have to come back in December to see what Christmas is like here.

They had live music on Saturday nights that starts right at 10p. After we got our IDs checked, we walked in and were immediately overwhelmed. It was very loud, very busy, and looked like your typical dive bar, which was cool. There were no seats in the front of the bar, at the bar, or even the tables in the back. After ordering our pizza, we finally found seats to eat near the pool tables in the back. We ordered the Champagne & Reefer, which is their supreme pizza. We were hungry so this pizza hit the spot. To be completely honest, I think my friend and I did not enjoy this place because I think we were the youngest at this bar. Everyone around us seemed to be having a great time and we were happy for them. We were slightly overwhelmed and felt like we needed a bar menu. We ended up just skipping alcohol all together at this place. I might want to try this place again with a bigger group of people. I see that they have a beer list online so I'll definitely look at that the next time I stop in.

They have some draft beers and several canned/bottled drinks to choose from. The cocktails aren't very good. I ordered a margarita, basic, right? It was not good at all, tasted nothing like a margarita. Maybe it was because they were so busy and short staffed. Not sure. But that's another thing, if you know you are going to be busy because of the game, you would think you would be properly staffed. When we got there there was only one bar tender and one waitress. They were very overwhelmed. I asked the bar tender why they didn't have additional staff, she said they were working on it, which meant they brought an older gentlemen from somewhere in the back to help out. I do enjoy coming here before the game, but they need additional hands to handle the busy game days/nights. There do appear to have a lot of "regulars" here so it is a local gem. I will be back but I'll stick to the canned drink options.
