Waitress was super attentive and helpful the whole time. It was insanely hot that day, mid-July in Vegas doesn't mess around, so having a nice, large air-conditioned space to duck into was exactly what the day called for. This is a proper local craft brewery and taproom restaurant, with family roots going back four generations in the city, and they lean into that local identity with a solid house beer lineup alongside the usual bar standards. Wasn't too busy, which was great, meant we actually had good seats for the game. Ok options for slot machines too, this being Vegas and all. I had the fish and chips and it was good, though every place really skimps out on the sauces lately, unless that's just me being picky about my dipping ratios. Nice selection of local drinks overall. They had me try one of their more out-there brews, some kind of skunk-named one, and it genuinely smelled like Cheech and Chong's basement. Points for the experience, even if I stuck to my regular pour after that.

It took a while for my eyes to adjust after entering because it's very dark in there. Lots of televisions to watch around the bar. Three people were sitting at the bar and I chose to sit at one of the back tables. Only the drink menus were on the table. The attendant behind the bar yelled from behind the bar to ask if I wanted to order anything. I was thinking "oops, was I supposed to order at the bar and then go sit down?) I yelled back over the music that I would like to have the espresso martini. I prepared to leave my table to pick it up; but she brought it to me. The glass wasn't traditional when we filled up close to the rim, but it was delicious. I requested a food menu and she brought it to me. I ordered the buffalo style buffalo wings with buffalo sauce and ranch dipping sauce. 7 party wings (5 drums and 2 flats) celery, and carrots for I believe it was $18. No fries or anything comes with it. The wings were cooked well. A couple of the drums were too dry on the end to eat. But the flavor was decent. Another attendant came out. She approached the table to ask if everything was OK. I requested the check and paid. I left my tip with the girl behind the bar as I was leaving. I'd like to come back and try the fish and chips. I didn't notice that on the menu, but I see the pictures on the Yelp page.

Without a doubt some of the WORST food you will ever have! As a Chicago native most of us are born…read morewith exceptional taste buds and it is not only an INSULT but it is also EMBARRASSING that the word "Chicago" is even part of this business's name! Anyone seeking authentic Chicago food will most likely be disappointed with this restaurant. Let's start with the simple dish, a classic Vienna hot dog. They GRILL the hot dogs here which any self respecting Chicago native knows is the incorrect way to prepare the dog! The traditional way to cook a Vienna dog in Chicago (and everywhere else) is to boil them. Charring the Vienna hot dog KILLS the unique flavor that Vienna is know for. Next while they do offer the classic Italian Beef sandwich, they DO NOT offer the Italian Sausage to go with it! The classic Italian beef and sausage sandwich is NOWHERE to be found in this establishment! The Italian Beef they carry is questionable coming from Vienna, If it is in deed Vienna Beef ( which I doubt) it is certainly not prepared correctly and as a result lacks the correct flavor and texture of any Italian Beef you will find in Chicago! And last but not least, their thin crust pizza leaves a LOT to be desired! I ordered their thin crust pizza and it was TERRIBLE! A very bland and tasteless pizza crust complete with some of the WORST sausage one will ever encounter! (similar to the sausage your grammar school served on their pizza) FAR from your traditional thin crust pizza you will find at any location in the city of Chicago! I didn't even attempt to try their deep dish pizza as I can only imagine how awful it probably is. I didn't even bother to take the leftovers home as they wouldn't even be fit for my dog! THE BOTTOM LINE: With the word "Chicago" in their name, this place LACKS just about anything that is authentic to Chicago! Even their giardiniera peppers are subpar to any you will experience in Chicago. While this place may be passable to those who have never dined in Chicago or who are unfamiliar with traditional Chicago food, if you are a Chicago native STAY AWAY as you will most likely be extremely disappointed! There are much better restaurants in the Las Vegas area that serve better Chicago food. Enjoy!
