It's been awhile since I have played on a proper table, so used to bar tables and PT's. Tuckaway in a plaza is Griffs! This pool hall has a plethora of tables. All clean, well kept. So it'll virtually impossible for you to not get a table. We were there around 6pm. Getting drinks was kinda on the slow side for a Tuesday. But later when more patrons arrived, we saw the waitress more out and about. I didn't try the food, but they had typical bar food. Restroom was clean, but out of paper towels. 9 ball world qualifiers Saturday morning and I work in this damn heat in Las Vegas construction and I have no desire to be in a sauna sweat box on a Saturday of my day off miserable and then I've just dropped 90 bucks here at Griff's. How disgusting is this sweat and sticky and gross and trying to shoot Pool in a world qualifier. You would think knowing that you're having a world qualifying matches going on that you would get your air-conditioning serviced before. They had a tournament going on, but had several tables available for walk-in customers, which was great. They serve food (we didn't eat), and have a full bar. Service was quick and friendly. The room is very big, about one thousand square meters, with high ceilings and nice ambient lighting. 26 billiard tables all in very good condition. Wide open passageways between tables allow for easy access and extra space between players. A couple of families with teenage girls were enjoying their games. The dining area is clean, nice and comfortable, and the menu is fine. Music is not too loud, just enough volume to make a good atmosphere. We went to griffs last night and the parking was horrible. I drove around in circles waiting for people to leave so we could have somewhere to park. We came in four separate cars, which made it even more of a nightmare since all of us were meeting up we finally went inside, signed the list so we can get a table and found out that the list that we signed was about an hour away and that they were still working on a list before that so we actually didn't get to enjoy playing the pool here. Not sure when it's actually a good time to come to this place, but I guess the fact that it's busy, he says something about the business. read more

Service is sub par Gamble 300 every visit and only get 1 drink after houding down battender. 14 different ones since 2021 and the servers even more in number and none memorable. I dont think ive ever one. The highlight is that its not smokey and ghetto. They have an AMI jukebox. Food is okay. Dri k selection is stsndard. But unless your a billiards fanatic. Ordered fries and I swear they were like crack. I don't know what crack tastes like but if I did, I bet you it would taste like amazing hot, fresh out of the fryer fries. This might just be the BEST BAR & BILLIARDS IN TOWN! And with damn good prices on games, food and drinks! I was here over 8 years ago and it looks like they updated it since then by expanding and adding some amazing finishing touches. It looks way better and it's an enormous pool hall with tons of seating everywhere. Especially the comfortable booths all along the wall and table top seating if you want to munch on some grub while you play. I was here Friday night 2 weeks ago and had a blast with the dudes. I love that the drinks are strong, they definitely don't skimp and it was about $16 for 3 very long games of pool which seemed pretty fair. I also love that played 70s, 80s, 90s rock the whole night which made my night that much more fun-- as everyone was trying to guess which band was playing. Welcoming and friendly !! I've seen Griff's featured on tv shows for tournaments and had to stop and play a game. Walking in the parking lot our faces melted from the summer sun then we were hit with the ac and a friendly welcome when we walked through the door. Totally inviting! We used to come here regularly for date nights. We slowly got pushed out by leagues and tournaments. Tried coming on different nights, and hit or miss. Also, the food and service started declining. But, for my son's adoption celebration, he wanted to shoot pool. So, we called ahead and specifically asked if there was going to be a tournament on Saturday. We were told no, so we invited our friends to meet up there. The day came, we walk in to a completely full place. Find out there IS a tournament. So disappointed.
