I had a large puzzle (9000 pieces) that I needed to get framed and not every framing business is capable of framing such a large item (When it was completed it was 80 inches by 60 inches). From the second I started discussing what I was looking for to the time I was presented with the final product the service was excellent. The frame I originally picked out was on backorder and I was presented with multiple alternatives to reselect and honestly, I think the new frame selected was 100% the right frame for the item. Despite the original frame not being available the project was completed by the projected date. I was kept in the loop via text message from the time I dropped the product off until I picked it up. I am very pleased with the final product and the service provided. I highly recommend using this company for any framing project. read more

I have a few canvas paintings that need to be stretched. Found The Frame smit on Yelp. Called ahead before I went in to check out the storefront. A nice man named Randy answered the phone and said he can give me a quote over the phone. He asked for the actual size of the paintings and I told him I wanted them "gallery wrap" style. He punched the numbers into their system and gave me quotes on each piece. I then drove all the way over there the next day to check our their work. The lady owner at the shop quoted me a completely different price for the same size and style - a whooping 40% higher. When I mentioned what randy quoted me over the phone, she got irritated with me instead. How is this on me when the two owners quote me different prices? Very poor customer service attitude. By the way, I found American Fine Art and Frame Company in the design district. They did a wonderful job and their price is half of what The Framesmith quoted me. read more

Brought in a 30x40 painting to get framed and Cindy helped me pick out the perfect frame for it. I got much better prices than when I went to Michael's. Left the painting and it was framed and ready to go in about a week. I was amazed at the results- frame was flawless and brought out the painting more than I could ever imagine. They even installed a wire in the back to hook easily on the wall. I just happened to stumble upon this place and I am super happy with their service. I needed glass put on a board game and was extremely impressed with their friendliness, professionalism and timeliness. From the minute I walked into their store, I got this feeling that you're dealing with good people. Oh and by the way, their price for what I was looking to do was unbeatable. I went to Michael's and they wanted $130. Hobby Lobby wanted around $100 but both places said they would have to replace the original frame. These guys kept the original frame and did the job for $35 total. And the job was completed by the date I was given. Regardless of business or industry, the way they treated me is the way everyone wants to be treated in the service industry. I really can't say enough about that. Randy is absolutely wonderful! I brought a number of pictures to be framed, re-framed and touched up after a long-distance move. I could not have been mored pleased with the results! Randy took the time to work with me on frames and matting that would highlight the beauty of each piece. He was also able to rescue one of my favorite pieces that had been badly damaged - now you have to really look for the imperfections. Hardily recommend!
