Well-known to the Georgetown art community, this little gem of a art gallery promotes local artists with art & craft pieces that get refreshed often. Kimi & Camilla are genuinely friendly... I experienced 'real conversation' regarding art, the artists, museum level of framing Kimi provides to both artist or collector. It was a refreshingly welcome interaction, rather than any type of commercial 'let's make a deal' vibe. I did walk out with a piece of original art, created by BRIESCHKE, a local artist, who studied at a Chicago Art School, decades ago... yet hasn't lost her eye for considerable richness of palette presentation. I will definitely be revisiting #TheFramersGallery, when I head into Georgetown for the day! Free street or parking lots within walking distance to Kimi's place, and to 'The Square', downtown Georgetown. read more

They were very different items and in questionable condition. She was able to preserve both of the items and they look beautiful. Windows were installed not plumb or square, floor was not level, doors all had to be reinstalled and siding had to be redone numerous times. How much worse can it get? During the movie, my mom's blood sugar dropped and we needed to order a Coca Cola quickly. We tried using the QR system but had issues with it. We then flagged down a server, but the Coke still never arrived. In a situation like that, relying almost entirely on a QR code isn't just frustrating, it can become a real problem. I also arrived early because I wanted to order food before the movie started. I assumed my order had been placed, but it hadn't, and no one came by to check. I ended up waiting much longer before I realized nothing had been submitted. The old paper order cards made it much clearer that your order had been received. Other theaters, like movie house and eatery , use QR ordering but still have servers available to take orders if needed. That hybrid approach makes much more sense. The QR system at Alamo is distracting, takes you out of the movie, and feels like it's replacing customer service instead of improving it. I also noticed the menu seems much more limited than it used to be, with several favorite items no longer available. On top of that, I ordered a frozen margarita and it was delivered without a straw. Drinking a frozen margarita without a straw isn't exactly practical. I've always enjoyed coming to Alamo Drafthouse because of the service and the overall experience, but this new ordering system takes away from what made it special. I sincerely hope you'll reconsider relying so heavily on QR ordering and bring back the option to order directly from servers.

Their quick thinking, composure, and genuine concern for my well-being made all the difference during one of the scariest moments of my life. What impressed me most was not only how capable they were, but how compassionate and caring they were throughout the entire ordeal. They stayed with me, reassured me, and handled an incredibly stressful situation with maturity and professionalism far beyond their years. Freedom Fun should be extremely proud to have employees like Isaac, DJ, and Adam representing their company. Their actions demonstrated outstanding character, teamwork, selflessness, and a level of care that I will never forget. My sister and I went to see "Obsession" at 12:40, yesterday. When we got to our seats, we noticed that it was humid, hot, and stuffy. We had hoped that once the movie started that the air would come on. Unfortunately, it never did. It was so humid and hot that we left before the movie ended. It was so stuffy that we felt tired and sweaty. We were sticking to the chairs. This theatre is within .2 miles of our home. It's very convenient! It's a great theatre and the reclining seats are pretty great! However, if one has to sit in a stuffy, hot and humid room for 2 hours, it becomes an awful place to be. We understand that prices are going up for electricity. However, we bought tickets and concessions. Is the theatre making enough money to use air conditioning? Wasted money and will not be going back.
