Welcoming local pub set in the middle of the small, friendly village of Darsham.
The pub is situated by the junction of the Street and Fox Lane, with two rooms either side of the bar area and an outside seating area at the front. (The roads are quiet though, so being outside isn't an issue.)
They serve a fairly standard range of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks, with real ales from local brewer Adnams. These are complemented by their own range of "Foxtails" (I.e.cocktails).
The menu comprises a sensibly limited range of food, including fish and chips, steaks, salads and burgers; with a decent selection of traditional puddings to follow.
We had the halloumi and mushroom burger, and the cheeseburger, both with chips. These were excellent, with a lovely smoky chargrilled flavour. Service was extremely friendly and efficient (they coped with the COVID-19 restrictions very smoothly).
The pub is very dog friendly; and there are a small number of parking spaces alongside.
Recommended. We will be returning. read more
