All of the dishes were delicious but I particularly recommend the Crab Cakes and the Shrimp & Chicken Etouffee. I had initially thought about catering the party myself but NOLA Girl's cooking is better than mine and has genuine cajun flair and flavor. Costs are competitive relative to the other caterers we considered; communication was excellent and food delivery was very prompt. Finally, the dishes are generously sized and we loved the left-overs! THANK YOU!

A short time before the time of the shower I went to set up the food. The meatballs and cocktail sausage were cold in zip lock bags with sauce in containers. The chicken wings cold and looked half cooked. When I called them and asked why my food is cold, I was told you have to specify if you want cold or hot. I think they should have asked me. Anytime I ever ordered catering for a party I received my food ready to be served. I had nothing to warm the food up in. I was totally screwed. The girl that answered the phone told me that she will talk to the owner about giving me a full refund. Well, I never heard back from them!!! The event planner said she will never recommend this company and this place is booked every day!

We hosted 25 guest and wanted an elegant menu to indulge on our anniversary. The menu consisted of three difference phases of the evening. First guest arrived to champagne service with a grazing station set out in our bar & lounge area, followed by servers with passed canapes of tuna crudo, bilinis with caviar and a few other incredible bites. Then followed a seated dinner that was absolutely phenomenal, we were all blown away. The dishes were simplistic with stunning plating but had a great deal of flavor. You can tell not only that Chef Holli is passionate about what she does but her whole team was super personalable and joined in the celebration, it was an anniversary we will never ever forget. They also have misting fans out there to manage the discomfort. You can smell the place from a block away. It's neat to be at a place surrounded by historic homes and old oak trees. Now onto the food. I got the 3 Meat Plate with Brisket, Ribs, and Pulled Pork. I've been smoking and eating Texas style meats for 25+ years, so I'm a bit of an admitted BBQ snob. The brisket was cooked perfectly. Not overwhelmingly Smokey, very tender, and still juicy. The ribs were a bit of a disappointment since they were overcooked and had a leathery texture. The flavor was incredible, just the texture was off. I wasn't upset though...it happens. The Pulled Pork was still very moist and easy to eat. The sides were very good also. The Beef Fat Tater Tots had a great texture and a Smokey flavor that I suspect came from a paprika based spice blend on them. The potato salad had great texture, but was very onion forward, so be aware if that is not your thing. My wife got the brisket plate, but got the lean cut from the flat of the brisket. It was still tender and moist. Her Roasted Garlic Mac-n-Cheese and Brussel Sprout sides gave me envy...they were both absolutely delicious! This place also has unique BBQ sauces. They have a house sauce which is a sweet sauce much like you might buy of any grocery store shelf, but better. They also had a Carolina style and a Jerk style BBQ sauce, which ended up being my favorite and was an unexpected surprise. It was a perfect companion for the pulled pork in particular. I gave the entire experience a 4 out of 5. Very solid lunch option. If you're in N.O. and aren't looking for seafood...give them a try.
