Why do they never come in on time? It must be a trend in the health and nutrition industry. GNC was the same damn way. Best time to go is in the middle of the day, when you know they'll most likely be there. Love their Max Muscle Gourmet shakes. They have the best flavors ever and some of them have flax, which can help with digestion. Because we protein shake drinkers know what shakes can do to our bodies. They also have different type of shakes for all types of reasons. I'd say come here, try their shake. They stand by their product and when you purchase a jug, you get a free shaker!

Martial art shoes. Fits very comfortably.....

They have their own little parking lot that is separate from the other shops in that center. Clean Eats is restaurant that offers a variety of health foods. You can order online, call ahead or order in person. You can even have your meals delivered to you. They have convenient pre-prepped meals and cater to special diets like vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, keto, gluten free and paleo. The inside of the store is clean and tidy but very small. They have outdoor seating for you to enjoy your meal there. I ordered a pork Chili Verde with rice and beans as well as a breakfast burrito. The pork Chili Verde was so delicious as well as the Spanish rice and beans. The burrito was packed with eggs, potatoes and turkey sausage and came with a side of salsa. My husband really enjoyed his burrito for breakfast. It was very filling. I love that they list the macros and nutrients, ingredients and instructions for heating on each package meal. These meals are so convenient. And you can pick and choose your proteins, carbs, and veggies to your barrier. All ingredients are freshly displayed behind the clear plastic shield where you place your order. They are so many options to pick from. The employee working there was very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to try other items.

I was still eating pretty healthy and was active during the pandemic but since I took a promotion at work, everything went downhill. I developed insomnia, skipped the gym due to work, started binge eating... there are days that I did not want to get up. As I slowly work my way back to my old self, I stopped by here recently to get some food for myself w/o guilt. I do enjoy the keto pizza. I just wished the macros are available. The meatballs were good, but I'd recommend dipping them in hot sauce, zero-sugar sauce, or their Clean Eats' condiments to kick it up a notch. They're not dry but since I was trying not to consume simple carbs, I ate it plain like that. The salad was fresh, very yummy. The parking is small and the intersection this place is located gets rather busy during the rush. If you know what you are ordering, suggest ordering for pickup to save time. I love how it's like a healthy Chipotle w/ all things protein-related (protein shakes, protein chips, protein cookies, protein candy, etc.). I love having this place as an option when I cannot decide what to eat or if I don't have time to cook.

That's where Nutrition Palace comes in. It's owned by Hany Rambod and his wife Naz, so yeah, the bar is already high. But what makes it stand out isn't just the products--it's the people behind the counter who actually live the lifestyle. Most of the staff are trainers or coaches at other gyms, and it shows in how they talk to you--not like salespeople, but like teammates. Fritizie in particular has been a huge help. She walks me through my InBody scans, helps assess where I'm at, and guides me toward the right pre, intra, and post-workout supplements based on my goals. No fluff--just practical, knowledgeable support. She's been key in helping me troubleshoot my recent plateau. If you're past the "just grabbing protein powder" phase and actually trying to optimize your routine, this place meets you where you are. It's not just GNC--it's GNC with intention, experience, and a sense of real community.

The guy at the seafood counter (very tall). He's super friendly & helpful. You can tell he loves his job (apparently he used to work at The Fish Market). He provides great tips & is very knowledgeable. There's another guy who works in the deli section, Michael I think is his name? He is also super friendly and very helpful. He's been there for years. I hope he stays there! No matter how busy they are, he's always there to help you with a smile. There's another lady too, she's got curly blond hair, short (or maybe she wears it up) and she works in the deli, or at least she used to. I haven't seen her recently, but she was always super nice as well. Pro tip, look for their deals! Sometimes their pizza will be really cheap from their frozen section. They also have deals on their rotisserie chicken. They switch up the days though and I believe Fridays they have a pizza special.

This store somehow manages to carry half the inventory of every other Whole Foods and then confidently leans into the "every store is different" line like it's a personality trait. Yes, I get that stores vary -- but this one feels like it's running a minimalist experiment the rest of us didn't sign up for. Friendliness is not an option. And let's talk about $1 Oyster Fridays. The oysters are there. The shuckers are there. The vibe? "Absolutely not." They flat-out refuse to shuck them for you, which feels like selling pizza and refusing to slice it because "every pizzeria is different." The real kicker, though, is the energy. The staff acts like friendliness is an optional add-on that didn't make it past budget cuts. I'm not asking for a standing ovation when I walk in -- just basic, Whole Foods-level pleasantness. That's kind of the brand, right? I'll still shop at Whole Foods. Just not this one -- unless I'm in the mood for oysters I have to shuck myself and a side of attitude. The staff at Almaden are All Rockstars!!

If you've ever been to the Pruneyard where this store is located within, park in the garage on the other end of the plaza and walk over. Don't even bother trying to find parking near Trader Joe's or in front of Marshall. The store is clean, tidy and nicely decorated with neutral tones. There're some tables and bar seating areas which may be enough to accommodate around 10 people. I tried the So Basic (Almond Milk, Banana, Strawberries, Almond Butter, Maple Syrup) and the Chocolate Smoothies (similar to the So Basic but with added Cocoa). Honestly, it's an acquired taste. I was not sure if I liked my smoothies or hated it. But it started to grow on me and before I knew it, I kept drinking it. Both smoothies tasted clean, fresh and healthy, just like the name of the store "Clean Juice". I paid $13-$14 for the 24oz larger sized cups. It's a bit pricey in my opinion but totally understandable with inflations nowadays. I'll consider this a splurge. I also appreciated that the store had a gender neutral bathroom.
