Love the foundry the food the service never disappointed I always get the same entree the short ribs although the greens beans was very bland and need some kind of salt I end up asking my bartender Dixon to give me double mashed potatoes.
Great Happy Hour prices, great service and food! A true neighborhood atmosphere! The Black Beans and rice is GLP-1 friendly and delicious! A huge portion for a side!
Everything was excellent. Service was great. Restaurant was very clean, and had nice decor. They had several things on the menu I would want to try. Garlic parm green beans were amazing. Wahoo grilled sandwich was fantastic. Will come back.
The service was great. The food came fast to my surprise. It's a big place. Great for office gatherings if you needed a great location. Outside seating and the staff were attentive. We had a great time and enjoyed our food. It was a nice walk from my place and I was able to walk away those calories. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend to anyone in the area.
Nice, local bar with a few tv's to watch sports. We came here since we can walk on over and it was like 50 degrees. They have some outdoor seating with heaters, but it was still too cold for us. Up first, $16 Fire Roasted Wings. I got them garlic parmesan style. I liked the wings, not the best ever, but certainly well above average. You get 8 wings. I had a $22 French Dip as my main course. It was fine, pretty average. I tried my Mom's $18 Margherita Pizza. It was also just fine. Good casual spot for a cheap dinner.
The Foundry never disappoints. I had the sushi stack, and it was absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was perfectly balanced and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, making it a great spot for a relaxed night out or a special dinner. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great ambiance, and a place I'm always happy to come back to.
Updating my 1st review. Came for brunch with my ladies group. Rebecca greeted me & showed me to the area with our lovely tables. We were a group of 25. Service was excellent. Was told they are working on a new menu. I was extremely impressed with my breakfast bowl & I saw a lot of the other food coming out. Lobster Benedict was a special & the lady that ordered it, said it was delicious. Rebecca also helped some of my ladies with the parking app. As to pay by phone! This is going to be a regular rotation for brunch with my group!!! It was so much fun!!! Thank you Frank & staff!!!
Saw this amazing art sculpture from the road and decided to check it out. Here is some information regarding it - The owner of The Foundry Grieco had known of Furnari's work for 10 years, and has been wanting a "Lunch" sculpture since day one of The Foundry. Now, Furnari has brought The Foundry a massive sculpture of a famous black-and-white photograph taken on Sept. 20, 1932. The image shows 11 ironworkers perched high above the bustling streets of New York City having a lunch break atop a steel beam on the 69th floor of the Rockefeller Center. The men sit casually, legs dangling into the void. Above them, the skeletal frame of the skyscraper rises, a testament to human ambition and ingenuity. Furnari is known for his sculptures that depict regular, hard-working people throughout history. Transporting his "Lunch" sculpture, he drove a truck 1,200 miles from New York to Pompano Beach. "It weighs a couple thousand pounds, no problem," said Furnari. "Passion and love is what really drove it, and it's currently on top of a truck because it shows that we're all free to move. I also did this because Frank (Grieco) is the man."
Great spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Great choice of libations, and menu items! Their pizzas are tasty, and their side salad was really good. On my recent visit, my friend and I sat at the outside portion of the bar. It was a lively area, and we enjoyed watching the football game. The bartenders were friendly and attentive.
Went here on a date. What a GREAT SPOT. We sat outdoors in a quiet corner which was perfect for the occasion. Our waiter was incredibly attentive. And the owner came by to ask how everything was which means a lot. My meal was the eggplant meatballs (yes I know it's an app). I had no idea what to expect, but they were excellent!
Some friends and I were looking for a good lunch spot in the area and this place came to mind as I've heard some good things about it, so we decided to give it a try this past Sunday. The restaurant is in a great location, very clean and just a really good vibe. When we sat and started looking over the menu we were a little confused as when we were driving we checked out the website for the menu, but things were not the same once getting there. We asked the staff if there was another menu and they told us they couldn't give it to us until 3pm and unfortunately what we wanted to order wasn't actually available at the time we went, but that was never specified on the website. Nonetheless, we ordered our food, our wing appetizer came out, but we still hadn't received any silverware or napkins since we were seated so we had to ask for that. Wings were very good. When our main dishes came out everything looked very good. Once we started to eat, there was an agreeance that the brussel sprouts were lacking flavor aside from the glaze, but were very bland. The pesto chicken sandwich was also very underwhelming. I think with the confusion of the menu and the food, I was a little let down. I'm not sure if this was just an issue of getting the wrong things, but I would give this place another shot, maybe at a different time of day. This time it just didn't do it for me.
We were looking at spots for a late lunch / early dinner after catching a musical nearby and so glad this is where we ended up! Industrial / steel foundry decor works well without being cartoonish or becoming the center of attention. Friendly and helpful staff were only too happy to take care of special orders. extra plates, and whatever else we needed. Cocktails were tasty, strong, and well priced. Spinach Dip Appetizer was yummy and came with freshly cooked pita that was somehow simultaneously puffy, crispy, and chewy. So good. Our party had a goat cheese salad, crispy mahi sandwich, and the sushi stack, and each of us was super pleased with our choices. No one had room for dessert so we left, full and happy. Be warned, the outdoors is a smoking section, and they allow cigars, so if you are sitting anywhere near the entrance, you will smell smoke!
This restaurant is located in a plaza with paid parking via the Pay by Phone app. We sat outside on a busy Saturday night for dinner. Be warned it is located right next to a cigar bar so you have to be okay with smelling cigars if you choose to sit outside! The hostess was nice enough to give us this heads up as well. We started with a Grapefruit Basil Collins (too sweet for my taste) and a Hold My Beer lager. The lager was somewhat flat and odd-enough tasting to return. Went with an old fashioned instead of the beer which was also not great. We split a warm goat cheese salad as an appetizer. This salad was delicious! And the server was thoughtful enough to bring us the salad already split amongst plates knowing we were sharing it. For entrees we ordered the Foundry Burger with fries and the Brasied Short Ribs with polenta and green beans. Both of these meals were good. The polenta was my favorite part! Overall, a nice spot with good service and good food but not-so-great drinks.

This is a trendy new restaurant/bar I highly recommend near/at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. The food selection is on point, the service by Tony was fun and well-done. The drinks were generously liquored up and the ambiance was eclectic! I highly recommend you call ahead. They have valet parking that they share w/Houston's and the staff is complimenting and easy on the eyes! The only and one thing I would suggest improvement on is that there should be a changing table/diaper station in the Ladies Room!!! By the way, it was a nice treat they the the shift manager came to our table-- we had such a pleasant experience over all that we will definitely come back! read more

I have waited with great anticipation for the opening of The Foundry being a devotee of the Vega Lounge which has some of the same management team. Upon entry I wasn't disappointed as I found the loft design concept appealing and certainly not the run of the mill Pompano restaurant. It is beautiful with an urban chic. Now to the important stuff---the food. My wife and I split the meatball appetizer which was excellent with an underlying delicious cheese. She had the baked chicken which she loved and I had the fennel sausage pizza which was very tasty with a perfectly baked, thin crust. We split the chocolate cake and still couldn't finish it. It is decadently rich and very nice. The service was fantastic and the price very reasonable. See the check in my photos. Overall, a great experience which I will revisit soon. read more

Great food. Had the Caesar salad and the homemade dressing was delicious. Four of us dined for dinner and all had something different. All were satisfied and the staff / service was fantastic. Unfortunately they still have that silly mask rule about wearing to your table but then not, which makes no sense whatsoever. However, it's worth the ignorant inconvenience to eat there and not their fault for the state of things. read more

You just know a restaurant is going to be great when there are no salt and pepper shakers on the table. The Chef has supreme confidence the food is seasoned perfectly. IT IS. A really laid back spot. No AIRS about the place. A fun place to dine and have a couple of drinks. read more

Only been opened for a few days and the service was excellent. It seemed like they've been operating for years. Love the open concept and the decor, done very nicely and trendy. Ice tea was high quality. We had the short rib tacos, sushi tower, and burrata cheese. All quality ingredients and tasty. The flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was extremely rich and dense. Very very solid spot especially for just opening. Prices very reasonable and a great addition to pompano beach. Manager also came over to make sure everything was good, which is a nice touch. Only thing I would suggest is some bread served prior to the meal. Without a doubt we will be back. read more

Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. This place deserves 5 stars! We were going to go to Houston's tonight but decided to check this place out I'm so glad we did from the moment we walked in we were greeted and taken swiftly to our table. India was our server and she was amazing! We ordered the mussels appetizer, and boy were they good! They were the biggest mussels we've ever had! For dinner we had the special swordfish and the filet both were awesome and the filet was cooked to PERFECTION!! I have to say the service we had was spectacular, Dennis one of the managers was so welcoming and accommodating he talked with us and always checked in to see how we were doing. We felt like celebrities because so many ppl and different servers even stopped by our table to grab plates or even box up our leftovers. I love this place! It is beautiful inside & out and the food is always amazing. It doesn't matter when you come (Brunch, Lunch, Happy Hour or Dinner) it is always delicious. Today we had the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast, Two Egg Breakfast with Bacon & Pancakes and the Short Rib Grilled Cheese. Went tonight for a birthday party of five. Had two salads, two appetizers. The salads were ok, bit tastes like salad from home, nothing spectacular, no zing. The server was friendly, not the fastest. We ordered mostly burgers and sandwiches and pizzas. The pizza is what they do best. The crust was perfect. This restaurant was good, I liked it. Not very crowded. The appetizers were good. Nothing had too much spice. I think they could do a little better with spice or flavor. The desserts were good, we each had a different one. They were larger than I expected and tasty. read more

This place has only been open for a month and it is packed. The food is great and the presentation is a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 The sushi tower is a must have. Not what you would expect but it is a meal in Itself The lobster ravioli was the best I have tasted in years. This is a place that you need to check out it rates an A plus plus. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner one Thursday night around 8pm because of recommendations from friends and the yelp reviews. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious and service was really great. My boyfriend got oysters on the half shell, the bourbon BBQ burger with truffle fries and I had grilled octopus and lobster ravioli. We also got a bottle of Cabernet to share. The food was amazing! The menu had a lot of interesting items that I will definitely want to try. Will be back. Treat yourself by taking a seat at the bar here on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night!! Dimitrius will make you some of the best (on menu, or off menu) cocktails you've had in your life. He is passionate and knowledge about what he does and it reflects in his craft. He is a breath of fresh air from the usual bar tending service you expect to receive. I'm pretty sure as with most south Florida establishments
Would this be a good place for a dinner party, celebrating a 25th birthday? We want fancy and yummy, but fun.?
My experience wasn't the best. I wouldn't see it as a place that was fancy or fun. My husband and I were basically ignored. I would probably go to the promenade in Coconut Creek or possibly Mizner Park in Boca.
