My $35 price included an electric car, unlimited range balls, putting green, and adult men (not kids) loading my bags into my cart. They treated me like a rich person who belongs to a private club. I might have given the wrong impression because I wore a Brooks Brothers polo shirt! I did give tips, which seemed to be appreciated. I asked which group I would be joining, and was surprised to learn I was going out on my own, which I like, because I have been known to take a Mulligan or three. There has been a lot of rain, but I have to say the course was in amazing shape for late July. There were four different tees to choose from, depending on your skill and desire. I golfed from the white tees. The carts have coolers with ice, a GP screen with directions, and distances for each hole. I have my own phone app for that but That's a helpful feature ... if you use it. Unfortunately, I did not look closely enough on the map for the ninth hole. I hit my longest and straightest drive of the day only to discover a large marsh is right in front of the green. My ball must've rolled right into it. There is a drop area for people like me who don't read maps but it was still a 130 yard nine iron to the green with 115 yards of that marsh. To avoid further embarrassment, I won't report what happened next. It was the most picturesque and memorable hole on the front nine and I blew it! The rest of the front nine is in great shape as I said, but none of the holes are real memorable. However, I am certainly not complaining for the price, which was a bargain. I even went back to the practice range to hit more free balls off grass after I was done with my nine holes. That helped me realize I was not following through on my swing. One more thing. There is a high end Ruth's Chris steak House on the property. I have only seen these in urban areas before where there were a lot of business people with an expense account. My only complaint is there was very little water on the course and it was a 90° July day. I did not see a beverage cart. Maybe they were occupied with the tournament. Fortunately I brought lots of water but I could have been in physical trouble if I had not. If you want to be treated like a big shot on a well-groomed golf course, and only pay 35 bucks, I highly recommend this experience. On a future vacation, I will be back to hopefully play 18 holes and read all the GPS maps!

Instructors talented, patient and dedicated. Three hours of instruction on all aspects of game (groups of 4-5 of fairly equal ability; including swing, drivers, chipping, pitching, sand play, putting. Lunch is good at golf course clubhouse off menus. One hour daily playing course with instructors, including daily "green reading" was invaluable. Really spent a lot of time on course mgt. and shot selection. (My putting and sand play improved appreciably). After afternoon instruction we could play the regular "championship" course or a nine hole course reserved just for golf school participants (no additional charge for either). You are provided a golf cart which is assigned to you for the week (your clubs stay on your cart) and is ready to play with cleaned clubs daily. Dinner as a group nightly was good and varied choices available , but not gourmet. Daily buffet breakfast was standard and adequate, nothing fancy. Jay Morelli, Joe, et al were superb... many great stories as all have played on a tour. Joe was a true professional and talented instructor, a great person as well as an excellent golfer who could teach with great elan. One can play with a chosen partner/wife/son or daughter - otherwise you are paired with others of equal experience or ability. (Several "beginners" in school). I made several friends during the week. Videos are utilized and made available for future review with instructor suggestions on their website - very helpful. The resort is dated but adequate. Very friendly staff, good bar both in the resort and at a Tiki bar. Pool/hot tub useful. Several activities for non-golfers. Free parking. Prior reviewer complaint that there was no in-room safe is a moot point in that there are safes available gratis behind the front desk. I WOULD do this event again.

I scheduled a lesson with Mark Parson, and it was the best lesson that I've ever had. Upon…read morearrival, Mark had me hit about a dozen balls with whatever club I felt the most comfortable with. Mark suggested that I put my left thumb in the 1 o'clock position and open the club face about 1 degree. I then hit another dozen balls, and immediately my ball contact was 50% much better and more consistent. He then noticed that I couldn't do a full turn, so he suggested opening up my left toe about 30 degrees and trying to rotate my right heel to hit an imaginary range bucket with my right ankle on the turn. I hit some more balls, and I could definitely feel a big difference with my follow through. I love the fact that Mark looked at my grip, swing, and form, and didn't tell me what the textbook says. He basically took what I had, and tweaked it by making suggestions and explaining the fundamentals behind it. I still have a lot of practicing to do at the range, which I hate, but I can't wait to see my scores 2-3 strokes better than what I usually hit. 'm looking forward to seeing Mark again in July/August so that he can help me with my short game. I highly recommend this Mark and the MC Golf Academy for all skill levels.

Plays like "bowling". Choose course or driving range. Swing into a screen. Take turns. Some putting If it's two of you, and you know how to work the machines, and you play ready w club in hand, you can maybe get 18in, in a little over 2hrs. But, just like the real thing, that's dependent on how well you play. No "walking/riding" from hole to hole, some "gimme" putts, and a triple bogey limit (some times bogey limit), reduces the usual 3.5- 4hr18 hole round. But if you are also just having fun and chatting and eating and drinking and get stuck on how to work the machine, time can fly by. 3 of us did only 5 holes in 1hr 15min, then just two of us finished the last 13holes in the final 45minutes, but admittedly rushed the last two holes. So $60(ea) for a round of golf INSIDE out of the elements isn't too bad. But can get pricey when you add in food and beer You will likely NOT get 18 in with 3 (avg or below players) in two hours Budget for each person paying for an hour, and an hour per person if you want to complete a full round (And you don't spend too much time pondering too long on what you did right/wrong or looking at your stats) Or...stick to nine holes and just have fun. My first time there were 6 of us, took 3hrs to do 9 holes but we had SOOOO much fun! Drinking and laughin and trying to stay out of the water! (Or trying to hit IN the water...I forget...we were drinking) Pros: plenty of parking. Bays are really cool: lots of virtual legit courses to choose from. And stats displayed to track your game Staff has been awesome, both times. Plenty of TVs Neutral: same sex bathrooms. Suggestion: like tee times on a course, they should give 5-10 minutes between each "hour booked" to cycle to the next group. If a group books 1-2p and takes their last swing at 2p, and there's a 2-3p booking right behind them, the second group will NOT start at 2p, and will get short changed by at least 5min to let the first group pack up and get out the way. Plus getting settled, learning how to run the machine, and entering your info...the 2nd group MIGHT get 45min playtime, of the 60min booked Not sure if the bays are on a timer like they do at 2nd Swing, but that would aid in "kicking people off". I was cognizant of the people behind us needing to start on time, BUT that also made me feel rushed. The staff made sure we knew when we were at 30/20/15min out and I made sure we ended at the very last minute. CONS: the food was not good Not necessarily the staff/cooks fault. It's just basic"bagged frozen cheap appetizers dropped in a deep fryer and served as-is". No seasoning, basic dip, and not appetizing at all ADVISE you eat before you get there $12/appetizers that are not good gets pricey. And there is nothing healthy on the current menu Overall I thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. Definitely will return, and bring friends!

This gym is a great place to workout and is steps above the competition…read more When I vacation to Ocean City and Bethany I would always travel down to the gym at Gold Coast Mall or visit OC Crossfit, but not since I tried out this World Gym. It is small, but it has everything you need. There is only one squat rack, a couple of flat benches, an incline, and then four or five dumbbell benches. When I have been there, the crowd is small enough that any waits for equipment are very short-lived. There was enough room for deadlifts and olympic lifts. The staff and other members didn't seem to mind me making myself at home. There is plenty of cable equipment too. All of the equipment is new, clean, and in excellent working order. Their free weights go up to 150. My favorite part is the customer service. I left a pair of knee wraps there, and called a week later to see if they were still there. The nice young lady at the front desk found them for me, but told me the manager wasn't there at the moment and took down my information. A week later, they were on my doorstep in California. I really don't think any other gym would go that far to take care of an irregular customer. The price is very affordable ($10 a day), so there really isn't a reason not to come here. It's worth the drive up from Ocean City.

At which time I decided to move and leave the area. I moved a half hour away. Only to find out months later I am being pursued by this group that I owe my membership fees - $280...Even though I explained numerous times that I moved out of the area and that the equipment was faulty and I was not interested in continuing my membership. Recently, I was visited by a Justice of the Peace Court from Delaware, for a judgement for $300 to be paid or they will take a TV from my house of the same value. You have to be kidding me. Buyer Beware!!
