Dishonest business practices. No returns accepted, none. This owner not only doesn't print in the receipt the return policy but no-one tells you about when paying for your purchase. They only give you store credit and there minuscule "sign" about this greedy NO RETURNS policy is very unfriendly. What a shame! Nice merchandise but you cannot change your mind. Very bummed! This place used to be amazing. They stopped carrying cool women's clothing and lost the boutique vibe. My friend and I drove from Denver often to buy clothes. I've heard from a few of my clients that stopped frequenting the store also. Now they have become a souvenirs shop with an overpriced clothing label of their own. Loved, loved, loved this store. We were drawn in by the cool display of interesting and unique socks. Walked in and checked out the socks, but found really cool leggings to purchase instead. This is a boutique store that offers tea and super friendly service. We ended up hanging out in this store for about 1.5 hours. I bought a pair of printed leggings plus a delicious smelling candles. All of my girl friends made a purchase at this store. And that's a feat right there! All of purchased leggings too! If you're in Frisco, stop in and browse. I think you'll like it. read more

We wandered in during a day a of sprinkling rain and it was such a nice surprise. Forget the weather when the inside was so bright and welcoming with a refreshing drink you can pour yourself a cup. My sister found some awesome fit flop sandals that can be hard to find elsewhere with the styles they have here being fun and unique. I got myself a bra and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The owner was very helpful and nice. My favorite part of the experience was two-fold. The first was that she offered me free tea which was really good. The second was that while I waited for my fiancé to shop, she presented me with the "Man Cave". A spot where I can sit back and relax in an armchair or sofa complete with a remote so I can watch whatever channel I want. Great at looking after the customer! read more

I went to the Flying Crane yesterday morning in search of event dresses and shoes and what not. I first went there in the morning in hopes of finding some outfits, when I arrived in the shop I was greeted very kindly with tea, soon after I had picked out some things and wanted to try them on; there was an older aged woman whose name tag read Val, "Customer service manager" she had told me to "go to the back and the dressing rooms are on the left," she didn't offer to help me carry my clothes I had picked out, let alone direct me herself to the fitting rooms. HORRIBLE. Once in the dressing rooms I had a fair amount of items picked out that I loved I just needed different sizes, I had spoken out the door of the dressing room asking for some sizes from the same lady, she had told me that she "Was helping another customer and would be right back," She never came back to ask about the sizes or even how I was doing. I decided to not get anything that I tried on as I didn't get the help I needed. When leaving I had asked what the hours they closed at were and the answer I got was "depending on if we are slow we will close earlier then 9." On my way out the doors I decided to get a pair of socks. Val was the associate that checked me out at the register, once again it was HORRIBLE, she made no eye contact with me, she didn't ask to see my Identification card even though on my CC it says "see I.D.," she shoved the socks in the bag and told me "have a good day" with no receipt following my purchase. To me the fact that her name tag said "Customer service manager" APPALLED me. She is NOT and SHOULD NOT be a customer service manager. I was given the worst service from her. She had no respect and should not be working in a place that deals with hundreds of people everyday. Later that evening around 5:30 I decided to stop back in the store with a girlfriend of mine who said she wanted to try some things on. I was willing to give the store a 2nd chance; We were in a bit of a rush but still had time to stop in. I decided to try the same things on from earlier except in different sizes and colors, I was escorted to the fitting room by a sweet younger gal who even offered to carry my clothing for me. She had knocked on the door of the fitting room every so often to see if i needed different sizes and even gave me other items that were similar to mine that I LOVED. I had asked her what her name was and she said very kindly " My name is Jessa let me know if I can get you anything else." Which I appreciated the gesture of being helped very much so. I had so many items that were picked out by Jessa that I adored. She knew just what I wanted and she did not have to ask my size more then 2 times. Once finished in the fitting room I had a big purchase awaiting me. Once ready to check out it was very speedy with the help of another associate which was great because we were in quite a bit of a rush. Jessa and the other associate were able to keep a smile on there face the whole time which was awesome and they were very polite about the whole service. THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE, not what I had gone through earlier that morning in the store. I was so relieved that my 2nd stop by was just perfect. I will be coming back to Flying Crane soon, and hope to have the same A+ customer service as before. read more

The owner doesn't seem to like tourists much for someone who owns a store that makes money off of tourists. I'm from CO, not that it really matters, but she wasn't exactly friendly. Cute clothes though if you like more conservative clothes for an "older" crowd I suppose is the best way to describe it. read more

I enjoyed the store and being offered a small cup of tea first instead of "How can I help you." I found a couple of things to buy and will be back periodically because I liked the types of fun clothes they offered. read more

Buyer Beware! Don't believe the receipt! I purchased a $100 pair of jeans here 20 days ago and subsequently found some that fit better and that I didn't have to hem where I live in Denver. The Flying Crane receipt says "All Sales Final, No returns, Exchanges with receipt only within 30 days." Well that's a little contradictory. But I thought if I got them back within the 30 days, I would be okay. But no, with a prosecution voice, I was asked "If I had the receipt?- yes, was it within 30 days?-yes, was it on sale?-yes then no, all sales final, and without any apology, would not let me exchange them for anything, sale or not. I could not find any sign that said no returns or all sales final on sale items anywhere near the sale department or on the receipt. So I guess it really isn't "all sales final", it's up to the cashier. It should be posted all sales final on sale merchandise. I suppose people have taken advantage of them to establish such a strict policy, but if the product clearly has not been worn, within 30 days, tags attached....really? I've shopped here quite a few times but won't go back, mostly because of the attitude more than the policy. Shop at Rivers, they are really nice and understand customer service. read more

This is a great boutique store with a wide variety of styles to choose from. The sock selection is the best in county! The Huckleberry tea is a nice beginning to the shopping experience. As a disabled customer I found the store easy to get around and easy to reach items on the rack. As soon as I had an item in my lap everyone took turns taking them to my dressing room. If you get the chance to work with Dondi she is a great resource and help. She was kind, informative of the styles in the store, and just a delight to work with. I never felt rushed or pushed to buy. This is a must if you visit downtown Frisco. By far one of the best stores in the area! read more

I love this boutique store. First -- super fun items for gifts or to spoil yourself. Second -- service is outstanding. I always feel special shopping here. Third -- prices are crazy amazing. Okay -- once in a while something feels decadent. But if you shop smartly you can get amazing deals on high quality product. I went in today looking for a black sweater and walked out with a bag full of tops for just a few hundred dollars. PLUS -- an amazing and special birthday gift for my mother. I LOVE this store!!! They have the coolest clothes in all the county. I just got a brand new pair of pants "LYSSE" that make me look 20 years younger. In fact they were featured on the Today Show. I have a teenage daughter who always can find adorable dresses for dances and events. The style and quality of their clothes is comparable to boutiques only found in New York.The sales and local discounts are to die for. You will always be helped with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I ordered Lysee leggings from this store. They never sent the item and sent me an email that I was receiving a refund via PayPal. No refund arrived so I called. They said it was processing. The refund still didn't arrive and PayPal has sent them several emails but they have not responded. I would advise against ordering online from this store. read more

Yesterday I went to the Flying Crane in Frisco, CO to look for a gift for a good friend of mine who is arriving for a visit next week. Upon entering the store, I received a friendly welcome, then the store manager showed me the perfect gift I was looking for! She did a great job explaining how it worked (it's a small purse/phone charger). She even went in the back and got hers and enthusiastically told me examples of how she uses it, how long the charge lasts and how great it is. Her hands-on explanation and the fact she has this product and loves it, convinced me not only will this be a great unique gift for my friend, but now I want to get a few more for some other family & friends. She took my name and # to contact me as soon as the next order arrives. Then on my way out, she showed me another fun useful gift that I also bought. Not once did I feel she was just trying to sell me something. Instead, her enthusiasm over the items made me want to have them!
