I ordered a nice bouquet for Mother's Day and I actually ordered it last minute as in the day before Mother's Day. If I had been the person answering the door, I would have refused to accept the flowers I received yesterday from The Flower Pot. All three roses were already at the point that you would probably consider removing them from the arrangement and throwing them out, and a number of the other flowers used were not far behind. My poor son trusted these people with his hard earned money to send me a special gift, knowing that since my mother had just died that this was going to be a tough Mother's Day. When he saw the flowers today, less than 24 hours after delivery, with the rose heads all flopped down, squishy and losing petals, he was so upset that he was brought to tears. Absolutely horrible thing to do to someone. Shame on you for sending out absolutely dead flowers! read more

Have used them before with success but this last time was extremely disappointing. Ordered Mother's Day flowers for my wife - and they were the deluxe version. They were delivered and we were both immediately underwhelmed. The display was not symmetric, had flowers missing petals, had flowers drooping, and had flowers with significant blemishes on multiple petals. I emailed the shop with photos that same day and received a note back apologizing and offering a $20 refund. They claimed the arrangement must have fallen over in the delivery vehicle. I don't buy that argument since within several days, most of the arrangement has died despite keeping the water level full (this arrangement is mainly daisies which shouldn't die). It is clear to me that this arrangement was made hastily with poor quality flowers (old). I will not use them again. read more

So I have never actually been to the store, and I wont comment on that. But my experience with the staff, service and product - WOW! So I had a friend that works near Maynard.. Well, is in Boxboro, so I did a search on Yelp for the closest flower store since I didnt know the area. There were some good reviews, so I called them up! I spoke with karen. She was VERY helpful, accommodating, and answered all my questions. I dont know much about flowers, but I know what looks good. (ok, I know what my friend thinks looks good.ha) So she put together an arrangement, and set up delivery for the next day (convenience and speed is always good. i called at 4 pm and she was able to deliver the next day!) The flowers and arrangement - WOW. exceeded my expectations based on the VERY reasonable cost, and looked great and were fresh. needless to say, my friend was FLOORED and very happy as well. My husband has been getting me beautiful flowers here for years. When it came time for us to pick a florist for our wedding, he knew exactly where we should go. The Flower Pot worked out perfectly. Kathy met with us initially to go over our ideas. She made some great suggestions and we put together a plan. When it came to buying accessories for the flowers, Kathy was honest with us and said we should buy them ourselves because whatever she would charge would be more than we'd pay at a craft store. Kathy had us come in about a month later, after she had ordered some of the flowers we wanted, for a preview and to tweak the plan. We had almost no changes to what she had initially suggested. She then had me come in the day before the wedding to look over everything in case I had any last-minute changes. Everything looked perfect and it was nice to know that all of our flowers were ready to go. Kathy was immensely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process (she even tried to help us find caterers and a reception venue when our original one fell through).
