I used The Flower Boutique for the very first time to send flowers to my sister post-surgery (I live in another area). If you're in need of a florist located in and delivering to this area, don't hesitate to place your order with them. I sent my sister the Woodland Wonder arrangement (Christmas-themed). She said the flowers are beautiful and fresh, the arrangement is very fragrant, it looks exactly as it's depicted on their website. I placed this order during the Christmas holiday season (December 15), one of the busiest times of the year for florists, and yet they were able to deliver to my sister the next day. Their selection of Christmas arrangements and flowers for all other occasions is extensive and impressive. January 01 2026 --- My sister said the arrangement still looks as fresh and as pretty now as it did the day it was delivered to her (December 16), except for the roses, which she removed and threw away, but only a few days ago. They lasted for two weeks, which is an unusually long life span for roses. I had mylar balloons delivered to this sister's husband yesterday from The Flower Boutique and again the arrangement was perfection, even better than I had envisioned. They don't feature balloons on their website (why?) but I called them anyway and I'm glad that I did because they offer a wonderful selection of mylar balloons. These people are very accommodating. I had requested that they call in advance both times to schedule the delivery dates with the recipients and to email me photos of the arrangements. Both requests were honored. read more

Came to my rescue after 1-800-flowers screwed up big time. Promptly delivered a lovely arrangement to a friend recovering from surgery.

I read on-line reviews for three florists in Gettysburg and each business had a bad review. Darn, I'm just gonna have to eenie-meenie-minie-moe this one. I chose the Flower Boutique because my cousin recommended. I looked at their website to call in an order and holy crap! They have on-line ordering where you can look at a photo of the arrangement before you order. Picked the one I wanted, typed up the card and delivery info and hit Send. The next day my sick girlfriend messaged me emotional, she said the flowers were so beautiful and colorful. That was last friday, today is tuesday and she said they are still vibrant and some of the flowers are just now opening up. Bottom line, five stars because you made my girlfriend tear up with joy. Hello I found this shop On yelp and read the reviews. So I gave them a try. It was my wife's On the 21 September and she was staying At a red church B&B in Fairfield. That Has ghosts. I called and asked the shop To deliver flowers to her. They delivered the flowers Next door to the church and the homeowner Brought them to my wife that evening. Scared my Wife and daughter when they knocked on the Door. They thought a spirt wanted in. My wife was more then pleased with the flower Arrangement and they were beautiful. I called The Flower Boutique to inquire if flowers could delivered to my daughter's place of work for her birthday. The young lady I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. Once I found out they would deliver where I needed them to, I went on-line and picked out a flower arrangement for my daughter's birthday and added a Mylar balloon. I wanted to surprise her and brighten her day at work. The Flower Boutique helped me to do that. There were several florists to choose from in the vicinity, I am pleased that I went with The Flower Boutique. I hope to use them again! I don't know if it is because I was grief stricken or what, but I am usually very decisive and I couldn't make up my mind. The owner was so patient and kind, allowing me into the back coolers to see the flowers and pick. I must have changed my mind a hundred times but she wasn't phased a bit. She came up with memorial bouquets that far exceeded my expectations! Yes, she does have a lot of dogs but they are all rescue dogs with special needs. She is their mother and takes very good care if them. There is no smell and they are friendly and loving! It's not 1/2 pet store! read more

The woman that owns it is very nice and helpful. I came down after closing 5pm wrong time here she came to the store and let me order. Nice selection reasonable prices. There is a $4 delivery charge. Keep that in mind and that they close at 5 PM not 5:30 PM. read more

Mary Beth was easy to work with & punctual. She was organized & professional, however My wedding flowers did not look much like what I had describes or shown pictures of. I don't remember us talking about green flowers at all & my Lilies & roses had more green then white. Additionally there were green none bloomed buds sticking out that were not suppose to be there. My bridesmaids bouquets also seemed to be very green instead of the light purple I was promised. The delivery & ordering process were great, but the quality of the flowers was anything but. I am just thankful I didn't pre spend $400 to preserve them as I had planned since they did not come out at all the way I had hoped. read more

I selected a lovely, cheerful looking arrangement on the florist's website. Sent them to my brother-in-law after his mom died. He included a picture of the flowers in his thank you card and mentioned that red was her favorite color. They were red! The whole bouquet was red! Definitely not what I selected. It looked like a Valentine's Day bouquet! Not what I would have sent to my brother-in- law (or any man other than my husband). Anyway, I understand that mistakes happen. I called the owner. I explained that understand how mistakes can happen and pointed out that I live out of town, I chose to support a local Gettysburg business, etc. She said she would look into it and call me back. Sorry to say this, but this flower shop let us down at our time of need. Flowers were ordered for funeral of my mother in Gettysburg,PA. in of 2016. Asked for $100 in flowers.....can't believe the small amount of the bouquet , that we received. Everyone in our family felt the same and it was not my only opinion. read more

One of the best local Flower Shops around!! Great friendly staff and beautiful arrangements. They do have pets in the shop which add to the fun of going in to visit. I had the flowers for my wedding ordered from the boutique. I wish I hadn't. They screwed up every single floral arrangement. I paid extra for a pink rose to be added to my bouquet (as a nod to a family memory), and it was left out. I paid for long stemmed roses to be used for a special part of our wedding ceremony for each of our mothers; they delivered corsages. The worst part was the fact that they included a plant that I was unaware of the common name for in all of my floral arrangements (bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages); turned out it was GOLDENROD. I was talked into using this as a accent flower and the pictures in their catalog looked nothing like goldenrod. My father has horrible seasonal allergies. I will NEVER give this place my business again, and I refuse to send anyone else to them. My family has avoided them since 2011. read more

Mary Beth was fantastic to work with! I was planning my wedding from Chicago and had ideas of what I wanted for the centerpieces and the bouquets, but couldn't make it out to Gettysburg before our wedding. I sent my mother to talk to her along with color swatches and pictures of the bouquets I liked. She took it upon herself to visit the reception space to get an idea of what she was decorating and how big her centerpieces and other decorations should be. And when I saw the flowers and arrangements, I was shocked. They were even better than the pictures I sent her. If you want a professional experience, go elsewhere. I hired them to do a small wedding. The store is half pet store, half florist and all disorganization. My associate was rude, communication was lacking and quotes were incorrect the first time requiring new prices at later times. If I hadn't been assured by my venue they do good work I would have gone elsewhere in a flash. Can't recommend them. read more

I had placed an order for the Dr. Chicken bouquet for a friend (there was a special inside joke with this). When the bouquet arrived at her house it was not what was ordered and there was not a call to me to inform me that not only did they not have the chicken mug but they also did not have the balloon. So I paid for one thing and they sent out a bouquet that looks like something I could have picked up at Wal Mart a smiley face balloon and a round vase with none of the same flowers. For the money that I spent on this bouquet you would think you could get something similar not completely different with no respect to what was ordered or the reason behind it. There attitude when called was as if they could care less and it was too bad. I will never use there service again. read more
