Really helpful, with a huge selection. Will be back now that I know they either have what I need or they will get it for me. My nephew's birthday is coming up and he wants Pokémon cards. I didn't know anything about Pokémon…read more(until I went to this store). I am so glad that I stopped at Chesapeake Sports Cards! The guy managing the store was very helpful! There were different items for sale and I didn't know what I needed. He explained the differences between all of the items and he helped me get what I needed for my nephew. I also learned that pre-COVID the store would host Pokémon games in one of the rooms. I think that's awesome that the store hosted games where the community could get together. I hope they resume once the COVID era ends. (Do adults play Pokémon? After talking to him, I think it would be fun to learn.) Since this was my first time in a sport card shop, I was even able to get a small pack of baseball cards for my friend who collects them. The store was bright and cheery and had a happy atmosphere. I had a great customer service experience and would definitely go there again and recommend it to anyone.

An employee asked my son to not press the buttons on a toy to prevent the batteries from being worn out as I'm contemplating buying an expensive train set, that battery preservation on a cheap Chinese toy cost a sale and future sales. I will take my business elsewhere. Store is also poorly organized - a hobby hoarder.
