His holistic, customized approach fits a busy life -- as a working mom and surgeon I didn't think I had time to eat well or exercise, but Wayne helped me prioritize my health. I now have far more energy and feel stronger, which makes me a better mom and surgeon. Wayne's knowledge and passion exceed expectations. He understands the mechanics of every muscle and designs intentional programs tailored to your goals. He immediately identified my poor posture from years in the OR and systematically strengthened the right muscles while using targeted stretching and bodywork to relieve chronic tension. A former physical therapist, he blends corrective work with performance training. Wayne is tough but fair -- he corrects form until it's flawless and gives simple, actionable changes that become lasting habits. His nutrition guidance isn't a fad: it kept me full and energized, addressed chronic dehydration (I now drink at least half my body weight in ounces of water), and eliminated the need for sugary snacks. I increased my daily steps and added targeted supplements. In four months I've lost 10 lbs, dropped under 20% body fat, gained significant muscle, and am down a clothing size. She took the time to really understand my background, my limitations, and my goals. Instead of giving me a one-size-fits-all workout, she designed a program that was tailored specifically for me. She made sure every exercise was safe, effective, and helped me build strength without aggravating old injuries. That level of attention and care made all the difference. Fast forward, and I've lost 57 pounds so far -- something I never imagined was possible when I first walked through the doors. More importantly, I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in my body than I have in years. Having…read moreadhered to his personalized training regimen and diet, I have since lost 63 lbs. over six months and have gone from never deadlifting in my life to pulling four plates off the floor. I still ride that adrenaline high! Personally, I have been fat and sedentary my whole life, peaking in adulthood where my job as an accountant solidified my inactive lifestyle. Coupled with the physical and mental implications of the pandemic, my health was at an absolute low. Cue Charles. Charles is a very observant and knowledgeable person. Never having experienced personal training, his ability to pinpoint various weaknesses in my positioning and movement and then subsequently correcting them was like magic to me. His simplified explanations also made following his regimen incredibly easy to adapt to. He knows when to push the limits and when to bunker down to make sure something is being done correctly to avoid injury. Through his careful observation and guidance, he was able to recognize and develop my latent strength (which I didn't even know I had), and it culminated in that four plate deadlift! I had only wanted to lose weight, so this newfound strength is a pleasant and welcome surprise! Another boon I hadn't expected when I started working with Charles is the ability to have a conversation with him about health fads and myths. For example, I had my doubts about the diet of salmon, meat, potatoes, eggs, and bread he had recommended to me since my own research spoke highly of chicken, but the result speaks for itself. Adhering to his diet, I have exceeded my original weight loss goal of 60 lbs., and based on the fitness app he has me use, my muscle mass, skeletal muscle, and protein levels (amongst other things) have had a steady positive trend while my cholesterol and glucose levels, based on a recent physical, have had a negative trend! I know that the success in my nascent fitness journey is my own, but I recognize that my progress is heavily influenced by Charles and his supportive expertise. I am a genuinely happier, more motivated, and more confident person these days. I look forward to my continued training sessions. I can't help but think about what I can achieve in the future, especially when the results I have now are only the result of six months!
