We had a shower drain flood and our entire bathroom needed new drywall and painting. Rafael was sure to put temporary floor coverings down to protect my hardwood floors, he vacuumed as he sanded the drywall to prevent dust moving through the house, and the final result was better than it was before. He cleaned up, hung up all my pictures as they were and left without a trace that he had been there. I have now asked him to quote me to repair our deck and paint the deck and pool deck. I highly recommend Rafael for your home improvement needs.

It's rare to find a company that's not only skilled but also trustworthy and easy to communicate with. I've worked with Handy on the Go previously and had a good experience. One year on though, it was a…read morecompletely different story. What I used to like about them was that they communicate well and promptly, and that means a lot in this business. However, it is no longer the case. I contacted them on a Tuesday to see if they can come fix some leaks, then patch the drywall and paint. Some back and forth later, they said they'll get back to me in a bit. Two days go by, and nothing, so I asked again, and a time was set on Saturday for them to come look and give a quote/start work if they can. Saturday comes, and they were a no-show. I called, texted, and some time later, hear back that a family member was hospitalized that that we have to reschedule. Sure! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday goes by (and this is the next week already) with no contact from Handy on the Go. I texted on Thursday to see if they still want to reschedule because if not, I need to move on. I received a text that they'd come later that day. I said I was home all day, and to give me a heads up when they're on their way. Again, a no show, with nothing from them at all. So here we are, ten days later with nothing. What a waste of my time! At this time, I am just over it. It is such a pity because a year ago, I thought we had found our good handyfolks. I would love to support small, local, mom n' pop and female-owned business, but really, too bad. It hurts me to write this review, but I am more than frustrated.

Michael does pitiful substandard drywall work. I would never hire him again. We hired him to…read moredrywall our basement for 3 rooms and a bathroom. He was supposed to have a crew working but it was only him. He would show up at 10:30 or 11:00am and only work until 2:30 or 3:00 and take an hour lunch. This has taken over 6 weeks and the work is still not done right. The mudding and sanding looks terrible and no amount of paint will cover this up. Michael will ask for final payment before work is finished. Unfortunately we paid him so we've learned the hard way. I have plenty of pictures to show how bad this work is.
