I went here with a GROUPON…read more I bought the luxury facial groupon for $39 which has a $80 value and which is supposed to last 75 minutes (according to the groupon). On Vitality Medspa's website the 'luxury facial' with the value of $80 is described (see pictures). It's supposed to include not only a cleanse, exfoliation and a mask but also extractions, a scalp/neck/shoulder massage, and more. My issue is: what was promised was not provided. I went in for the extractions but got none. I pointed this out at the end of the treatment, after the skin therapist said that he was done. I was surprised because the therapist mentioned extractions in the beginning of the session and I was sort of waiting for that (I don't care too much about products being put on my face - that's not what I came for). But I was told that he made an assessment and extractions would just make my skin worse. I was surprised that he didn't discuss his decision with me, but okay. Something else I noticed was that I went in at the same time as another lady (who never had a facial either and was willing to try one with a groupon). We both were out an hour later. She went into the room just before me, and when I came out she was already out in the reception area. So the treatment did not last 75 minutes. Later on I remembered that I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. But those 15 minutes should not be counted as spa time, of course. After the treatment, I started looking on yelp and saw Jenelle's review. That made me realize I also did not get the scalp/neck/shoulder massage, towels around the arms, etc. This together with what I described above made me realize that the company does business this way. They offer a price for a service, but then they don't deliver. And sure it was relaxing and the guy who gave me the treatment is good at what he does. Maybe this company thinks that if I am impressed with the therapists techniques and friendliness of staff that I will come back to get the non-groupon (more expensive) treatments. But that's not what I came for. And so it was not a good experience, I feel scammed, and I won't be back.

Hmmm...so then I didnt have to get geneo facial just to get extractions yet when I called to book, and said I wanted extractions they automatically scheduled me for the geneo which doesn't include that service. Yeah, makes no sense. I guess ask more questions because if something is broken they'll simply say that its not included in what you purchased and it was included last time because you were lucky. Definitely not coming back. Live really close by so that's unfortunate but luckily lots of other spas are opening up soon.

They have expertly trained Botox and facial filler RNs (yes they are medically licensed) and they have a variety of vitamin cocktail injections. I come for the Vitamin B cocktail injection, which is administered in one of your glutes . It truly helps me power through a demanding schedule and seems, in my mind, to help alleviate some of my joint arthritis pain and discomfort. Looking young is only half the equation- you need to feel young too, and I can't say enough great things about the Vitamin B complex injection. So let's talk about some of their Botox and fillers- so I never smoked but did develop some lines around my mouth. People are very expressive either in the upper portion of their face from the eyes up, or the lower portion of the face- from the mouth down- so that's me all yacking away (I hardly have wrinkles in my forehead or around my eyes)! Very disappointing experience after giving multiple chances…read more First of all, I gave this business several chances before deciding to leave this review. I followed Angela for Botox and lip filler, Teresa for skincare, and Adriana, the owner, on Instagram because their work looked beautiful. I was excited to start my Botox, skincare, and lip filler journey with them. My goal was simply to enhance my features, not do anything over the top. My first appointment had to be canceled because Angela was sick. I completely understood that and appreciated that she didn't work on me while she was ill. Unfortunately, my first lip filler appointment was very traumatizing. As soon as the needle was inserted, one side of my lip immediately swelled and bruised badly. Angela made the decision to dissolve the filler right away because she realized the swelling was getting worse. Throughout the entire experience, I stayed calm and trusted her to do what she felt was best. Even after that experience, I decided to continue with PDRN under my eyes. I actually loved those results, although they only lasted about three days. I still paid for all of my services and walked out with one extremely swollen lip. They didn't have masks available, so I had to drive home looking the way I did (A deformed fish) which was very embarrassing. To Angela's credit, she checked on me later that evening via text. The swelling eventually improved after using ice packs, an antihistamine, vitamin C, and Arnica. She recommended waiting another week before attempting filler again. When I returned a week later, the nurse applied numbing cream before I even spoke with Angela. I sat there for about 45 minutes with my lips numb, only to be told we should wait another week. Since I was already nervous about getting filler, I followed her recommendation. I even asked if I could receive a different service that day instead of lip filler. I was told no--the syringe would simply be saved until I was ready. I decided to schedule both a HydraFacial with Teresa and my lip filler for the same day. Still giving the business another chance. I rearranged my work schedule and daycare so I could enjoy a relaxing Friday. The morning of my appointment, they canceled my HydraFacial. What made this frustrating was that the day before, Teresa had posted on Instagram how grateful she was after completing around 20 HydraFacial's that week. Then I was told the machine had suddenly broken. I still have screenshots of those posts. I reached out to Teresa privately on Instagram because I felt canceling the same day after I had already rearranged everything was unprofessional. At that point, I had experienced: -Multiple appointment cancellations and delays. -A lip filler complication that required immediate dissolving. -Repeated postponements after taking time off work. -A same-day cancellation after making childcare arrangements. -Being unable to use the money I had already paid toward another service. Just wanted to warn people about V. Rosas from Epiphany Dermatology on Texas Ave. During my two…read morevisits she did nothing but attempt to push medication on me without doing the proper tests for a full diagnoses even after I asked politely to do so. The alternative was 30 days of a strong medication. Long story short I had to travel all the way to Atlanta to get proper care. My actual dermatologist was appalled at the dosage they tried to give me, ran the proper tests without me having to ask, resolved my issues with one visit. If I hadn't, the misdiagnosis they gave at Epiphany could've caused me to develop a fatal infection. As a black woman I never felt more unheard than when I did with V. Rosas for my skin concerns. Please always advocate for yourself. If you ever feel like something is off, don't let folks play in your face.
