In the summer I cannot remember exactly what I had but one thing I did have for my starter was Black Pudding on a Pea & Mint Puree with a Scallop on top, and it was excellent. I had a traditional Christmas Dinner the other night which was brilliant, the atmosphere was brilliant, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a fishcake Starter, followed by Turkey with all the trimmings, very generous portions, and I followed it with a Cheese course. I also recommend the home produced ale. The pricing is spot on, and I really can't fault the experience. Not true ala carte, but a lot better than bog standard pub grub.
