I'm in Long Island for a wedding. Of course Im last minute with the essentials but i knew this the day before soo i use google maps to map out all the places i needed to visit the next day. This lingerie shop popped up. I must thank google for placing it on my radar. They are appointment only during Covid. The person working with me figured out my size in minutes and picked out a great fitting bra for me. As we continue with the transaction, I found out that the person who assisted me was also one of the owners! The shop is owned by the sisters yall! And and its black owned . I can tell that the shop is s great addition to the neighborhood/town based on the patrons who were in the shop who have off this energy that man i'm thankful for a good shop to buy bathing suits before I leave for vacation or to get my daughter fitted for a new bra. its the little things for me :-) read more

I need to be fitted as I am large breasted. 38H is my current size. I have always struggled to find the correct fit, even as a 36C teen. I have been in twice, both times the service and fit was on point. The ladies definitely know what they are doing. The shop is by paid appointment, the cost is deducted from your purchase. There is a cut, style and fit to suit everyone from bras with matching panties, to bathing suits to boudoir pieces. They have body shaper undergarments to smooth and lift for that perfect figure. I am deducting a star for a recent experience over the phone which left a very negative impression on me. One where I am considering looking for an alternative shop. And trust me when I say there are not many stores that specialize in fitting larger breasts that really care about the shopper's need and not the sale. I've tried one in Murray Hill and another in Columbus Circle, both left me feeling like they only cared about how much I was spending. I normally purchase between 2 and four sets every time, at over $60.00 per item. I expect friendly professional service and correct advice. read more

If you're a curvy woman for whom finding a bra that fits and looks good in a department store is the impossible dream, run to see Stephanie at The Fitting Curve. She looks way too young to be an expert in fitting women's undergarments, but she is amazing. She wouldn't entertain any of my negative self talk due to having gained a lot of weight during Covid, and she asked the right questions to help me find what I wanted. She brought bra after bra, helped me position "the girls" just right, and gave me the language to discuss my choices. For instance, I now know the phrase "too much bra" to describe the old lady bra I got fitted for when I was in South Florida last winter, no offense intended to older women (-: I went in hoping for one or two bras and ended up getting three underwire, a nonwire for relaxing at home, and a sports bra, and I put two back because I was already spending more than I had planned. Stephanie was super sweet as well as knowledgeable (obviously). They didn't have one of the things I wanted in stock, so she offered to let me know when they come in, with no pressure to pre order or pre pay. This is the kind of business I like to support! Bra prices range from $50-$200, plus there are sale bins. Swim suits too! There's a single stall gender neutral restroom in the back, and a comfy bench for your companions to sit while you're in the fitting room. Wow and amazing!!! My mom and I did a fitting here today and I would recommend it for anyone who's busty! These ladies know what they're doing!!! They were extremely knowledgeable, efficient, informative and helpful! They asked the right questions to understand the need and style we both needed. They observed how each bra fit and made adjustments to ensure we had the right bra. I learned a few things in the short amount of time I was there. They also have a great line up of swimwear! I cannot wait to return and continue expanding my line of bras. The average bra cost around $60 but please know the quality is everything and it's worth the purchase. My experience surpassed my expectations! I've never owned really great-fitting bra, let alone a sports bra. I have a pretty good size chest and I normally enter a store and just ask what they have in my size, and decide between the one or two disappointing bras they have that kind of fit. I've spent my entire adult life making due with the bras I could find (I smushed myself into bras that were too small, found a bra that fit, but that was ugly, or self-altered straps that were too long). I had no idea about my real size and I wanted to own something that was pretty and comfortable. So I've always wanted to have a real fitting. I could not believe how many choices I had! The staff really knows their stuff and it took no time for them to pull a selection - a really big selection - for me. Each bra was prettier than the next and most came in multiple colors that were not just black and tan! I looked in the mirror and I felt like for the first time, I looked like I'm supposed to look! Then to top it off, they showed me sports bras that were not smash-yourself-down-uniboob bras. The sports bra gave excellent coverage and support (and actually was made me look good). They have swimwear too, so I'll be back when the weather gets warmer. They also have lingerie, which is absolutely beautiful. My mother and I booked two back to back appointments for bra fitting. We are both women with larger chests and it's often hard to find a really great bra online or at department store. Stephanie (who did my fitting) and her sister saw my mom and I at the same time and our experience was wonderful. I hadn't been professionally measured for a bra since high school so getting and accurate measurement was critical. Once I was measured, Stephanie brought me about a dozen of options, with so many different styles and color options. The crazy thing was - THEY ALL FIT! I was able to focus on what really felt good and what would be most practical for me instead of just trying on options blindly trying to find something that felt decent. Stephanie really listened to what I was saying and brought me options that I loved. My mom had a very similar experience and we both walked away purchasing multiple bras. The other great thing was the price! I was expecting pricey options but all three of the bras I purchased were between $50-$70 which I think is very reasonable for a fantastic bra. I can't wait to go back in the spring/summer to see the bathing suits they offer! They also had BEAUTIFUL lingerie (some designed by Stephanie herself). Really looking forward to purchasing more. I cannot recommend this place enough. The brands they carry are some I've never seen in department stores before but that work SO WELL for my size. Spend the few minutes it takes to make an appointment and visit a legit bra-fitter, namely the gals at The Fitting Curve. With a range of experience from La Perla and other big names in brassieres, the owner herself not only fitted me properly for the first time in my life, but also listened intently to exactly what I wanted in a bra. Brands are high end and will set you back a few bucks more than that one major chain, but hey, don't your girls deserve quality support more than fast-fashion? Left with two great pieces and my info logged in their system for ease of shopping when I return. I'm a little embarrassed to say that the last time I was fit for bras was at 14 years old for my first bra. After being unable to find comfortable bras, I went in and was fitted by Stephanie. I found The Fitting Curve online, read the reviews, and googled the directions. I got lost because the online google directions were wrong, so I was very, very late for my appointment. Helen greeted me with a smile, expressed pleasure that I was finally there, and proceeded to help me in a friendly, professional manner. She first asked what I needed, listened, measured, and because she knew her stock so well was able to fit me with the exact bra that I needed for my Mother of the Groom's wedding dress. I had such a great experience at The Fitting Curve with Helene today! It's been about 5 years since I was last fitted for a bra and I just had a baby in December, so I knew it was definitely time to get resized. Due to COVID-19, I made my appointment online a few days ago (no walk-ins at the moment) and met with Helene for my appointment. I shared with her what size I was currently wearing as she was measuring me and then she brought me a range of bras until we found the right fit. What meant the most to me was that Helene explained to me why some sizes fit but others didn't and what I can do to make sure my bras last as long as they can. Having only opened a few days ago, they had limited stock but the bras that I did see were very lovely and seemed to be of high-quality. The staff were extremely courteous and knowledgable. The salesperson who helped me said that she expected to have pjs, more shapewear, and of course more bras and underwear within the next week or so. After some truly awful experiences at other fitting businesses that were recommended word of mouth, I searched Yelp and gambled on The Fitting Curve, and was very happy I did! I recently have lost weight and needed to invest in new bras ASAP, and got incredibly personalized service and an education. My fitter was excellent in bringing a selection of items for me to try and pointing out what does and does not work for my body type. She answered all my questions about how to know if a bra is actually fitting properly, when you know it's time to get new bras, how to store the bras, etc. She was also incredibly friendly so she put me at ease during the fitting the entire time. At checkout I was pleasantly surprised that all the bras were reasonably priced and I had spent no more than I had intended to.
