We brought new friends this year who absolutely loved it also. We had reservations which I highly recommend. They were swamped when we got there. Service was a little slow, and they weren't as attentive as we necessarily would've liked, however it would not stop us from coming back. They had several big parties in and we just enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe. What we got: Special cocktails and smoked old fashioned 100/10. My friend said it was the best smoked old fashioned he's ever had. Started with Flatbread, which was great. 10/10 It was the flatbread of the day, mozzarella, pesto and prosciutto. My friend and I had the Salmon. 9/10 It was perfectly cooked over sautéed spinach. I personally think a little something else with it would be nice. If you're really hungry, it wouldn't be enough food, but it was a perfect healthy option I was looking for. My friend got the butter chicken 100/10. Absolutely fantastic. Just spicy enough but not too much. I am a wimp and I loved it. Two others got the Katsu Chicken 100/10. This was the standout!! Perfectly crisp chicken breast cutlets, mashed potatoes, fresh perfectly cooked green beans, and a mushroom gravy. I wished I got this and will next time! Dessert: Key lime pie 5/10, just ok. Tasted more like a lemon bar to me. Tiramisu 10/10. Light, tasty, wonderfully done.

The Deets: During a visit to Salisbury during The Cheerwine Festival, we stopped to one of the sample tables in front of Bottle & Can and after my friends enjoyed some of the samples we decided to step inside to see what this bottle shop/bar was all about. Honestly, The Cheerwine Festival can get way too "people-y" and we had wanted some downtime from the long lines and crowds. We found just that oasis in Bottle & Can. We sat down at the bar and were delivered great service and conversation during our visit there. They had a great selection of draft beers/beverages as well as some good selections in the coolers to enjoy also. I found an Untitled Art Chocolate Dark Brew NA beer in the cooler that hit the spot perfectly for me and I had a couple while enjoying the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of this bottle shop. They even had some snacks available for purchase such as popcorn, Lance cracker snacks, etc. Great staff, great atmosphere, and great beverage selection made Bottle & Can Salisbury a great find...very enjoyable visit!

I gave it four stars and can't figure out why I didn't give it 5. Probably just grading a little more reserved these days. The chef, Kyle, came to our table to discuss a food allergy of someone in our party and came back multiple times to talk to us. He was GREAT, and we could really tell he was experienced and loves what he does. What we got: Milk Bread - 100/10.... I could've eaten the whole thing myself. I would love to get ahold of this recipe... and the homemade butter. Oysters - 10/10 I was reluctant because of the past reviews, but they were outstanding. Some of the best oysters I've ever had in my life. Had a Bloody Mary seasoning. Chicken wing special - 100/10 wow and wow. I could've also eaten all six of these by myself. I held back ordering a second round. Tomahawk steak - 10/10 the flavor on this was unlike anything I have ever tasted before. Perfectly cooked and worth the price. The creamed spinach side that comes with the steak was also glorious. The potatoes that came with it were not my favorite, but they did the job. Cabbage special - 100/10 this may have been my favorite thing we ate all night. Unfortunately, the portion was not that big and I really wish there were more for the price. . It was outstanding. Panna cotta dessert - 8/10 I'm not a big dessert person so this was nice because it was not overly sweet and very light. The overall experience was wonderful. It was relaxed, we did not feel rushed. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Service 10 out of 10. Food 9.999 out of 10. Steep price tag, but it was well worth it and we can't wait to come back when we visit again next year.
