I had been to the Mother India in Glasgow and I can say the food and service in these branches is exceptional. The restaurant is very relaxed, while maintaining a very high standard in everything they do. As I said the vegetable dumplings kofta was fantastic, dumplings of cottage cheese and veg was a concept that I could never have dreamt up before never mind tasted. It was delicious in curry form, tastes I can't quite describe. To go with this I had vegetable rice, which again was done to perfection, enriched with various vegetables. I was stuffed. The portions were a great size and even thought I was unfamiliar with a few of the dishes the staff were happy to explain and offer their recommendations. An overall great place to go and have a memorable evening.

The staff are extermely polite and helpful - the first time we ordered a home delivery we received a letter in the post a few days later thanking us for the custom and asking if we could recommend any way they could improve their service which I couldn't!! They are happy to tailor a dish to your particular taste by making it more or less spicy etc. Home delivery service is good and reliable. I like that they always give a realistic expectation of when your food will arrive. This place is definitely worth a try.

Shame, as it has potential, but as with all places doing pizza, burgers and curries, you sacrifice quality along the way. My suggestion, reduce the number of dishes and make them stand out ones.
