Camp fire paella made with Fish Peddler's lobster, muscles, and clam.
    Eric P.

We really enjoyed our experience at Fish Peddler! The lady who worked there was very helpful and showed us all the seafood they have for the day. We bought some fresh lobsters, muscle, and clams. They also sell really nice quality fire wood for camping as well. I gotta say they hooked it up! Thank you gentlemen!

The service the young man was really nice to us. We were able to purchase tonight's dinner.

Princess Seafood has a market and restaurant around the bend from each other. The market itself has…read morepretty much the same menu, but all the seating is outdoors under some tents and you order at the register where they also sell fresh seafood by the pound. Overall, I was pretty impressed and satisfied by the quality of the food I got. Pricing isn't cheap, but in line with expectations for seafood in an area with a lot of visitors, though portion sizes do veer on the smaller side. Kimchi Crab Cakes (2.75/5): I wanted to like these more than I did, but unfortunately I just thought the kimchi flavor was pretty lackluster and also tamped down the sweetness of the crab. The crab cakes are mostly crab, which is nice, but I'd skip this one. Grilled Oysters w/ Lemon Garlic Butter (4/5): Fresh oysters grilled to order, what's not to be happy about. The garlic was fresh and the oysters weren't fishy; all around solid option. Clam Chowder (4/5): A nice clam chowder. Nothing crazy and good amount of clams. Exactly what you'd expect. Crab Roll (4.25/5): Definitely my favorite item we tried! Super generous with the amount of crab with a bit of creamy mayo and slices of fresh tomato. The bread looks really pale, but it was actually a satisfying fresh, soft roll.

There were three of us and we ordered the fresh crab rolls. We couldn't stop saying "OMG" because they were that good. The bread was buttery and toasted to perfection and they were incredibly generous with the crab. The clam chowder was also amazing - not too thick, super flavorful, and filled with the perfect amount of seafood. We shared 6 bbq oysters (3 lemon garlic and 3 Calabrian chili), and they were so good. To finish - we ordered the spicy prawns with garlic bread, which were delicious as well, though we were already so full by then. We ordered our food first and then grabbed a table outside which made for a super relaxed vibe. I would 100% come back whenever I'm in the area and will definitely be telling all my friends about it. I was so impressed!!

Well this was shortly before the Thanksgiving holiday and I wasn't able to get in when the meat dept. was open until after Thanksgiving. I got to the store when the meat dept was open and was now told that I would have to bring the meat back when the manager was in or when the customer service dept. person was open. I came back during their open hours (which I called to confirm) but the serv dept person closes an hour early and takes her lunch during that last hour (apparently). Someone must have told her I was waiting for her, she came up and said "I will not be returning your meat, we no longer return meat" so they can sell items that go bad prior to expiration (which is happening more and more with more and more products). If something goes ROTTEN prior to exp. Date and you wish to EXCHANGE it for an edible item, it isn't a return, it's an exchange. I guess I will NO LONGER buy meat at Safeway!!! This crap stinks to high heaven as I have now pulled it out of the freezer (to keep it from spoiling any more than it had already) and hauling it back and forth to the store in attempts of getting the product replaced.

I do not want to buy things that some strange dog licked/ this is a food store!! I welcome an actual service dog, but mangy pets should NOT be allowed in. The store is also discontinuing favorite brands and slowly turning all the shelf space to mostly store-brand junk. It's Dirty and very few checkouts open but the self check, which I refuse to use because they don't want to pay employees. The homeless hanging around outside asking for money, stealing in the store and making you feel unsafe in the parking lot is not enough for one security guard to handle.

All kinds of great gifts, deli food, candy, bakery, produce, wine, liquor, fresh food in the deli, gifts, plants, home necessities, and the usual stuff found at grocery stores. I went in specifically to find Carol Hall's Kitchen's jalapeño jam. I bought one of those, a jalapeño berry mix and a blackberry jam. A friend swears by this brand. I also found some paper free, bamboo tissue. Easy to find employees, one didn't know where the items I needed were located. Another woman knew and told me which isles. The one unfamiliar with the store, at least the Irene I needed, came and found me to direct me to the right spot. I appreciate that. Checker rang up my items, the bagger banged them. Neither said much to me. The checker told me my total and the bagger asked if I wanted a bag. Customer service could be a bit more upbeat, eg, "hi, did you find what you needed, how's your day, thanks for coming in.

Looking forward, I'll just order the croissant sandwiches and wraps. Excellent customer service. Staff was extremely helpful. Plenty of parking space and the store is clean.
