As I walked in to this place I couldn't believe I was in Windsor-finally a breath of fresh air for a local town that is famous for it's Royal resident and drunken sprawls at the weekend from hen and stag parties staggering out of Chicago's.
This old renovated firestation is a centre for arts & culture, with a packed weekly diary of youth classes, writing classes, film showings, acoustic sessions and all sorts. This place really resembles the Curzon in Soho and has a simple clean design inside with a cosy small bar in the main area.
I regularly go to the Lindy Hop class here and cannot commend it enough, I have been to other lindy hop classes before but they are always in central London so it's refreshing to have something local. The class size is just the right size with great teachers who also teach in London and recap in every class so beginners are always welcome.
Great place and is a must if you live locally and want to start a new hobby or just fancy a drink read more
