A bit hit and miss really. It looks like a lovely village pub at first glance, but it's a bit run…read moredown and lacking slightly on the 'friendly welcome'. The car park is tatty - imagine an unkempt farm, random bits of metal, chickens, bathtubs, broken cars, sheds with grass growing out the roof - and you've got the general idea. Inside it's a bit better but still rather tired and dated (and not in a good way) They seem to have a very high staff turnover (there's always a board outside advertising for bar/kitchen staff) which may explain some of it, but the key staff seem to have been there for years.
