I love shopping at The Falls! You don't have to pay for parking and I know where all the stores are. There is also a Regal Cinema here. A nice, relaxing place to shop that's usually not too crowded. For starters, I believe this is just MORE than a mall. I feel as is its almost a treasure cove here in miami because there are so many generic malls -- dolphin, international, aventura. But not only does it have an amazing outdoor layout with a beautiful river of sorts that runs down the strip of stores. Also! It caters to a more higher-end shoppers and for such a small place it does have it unique vareity of shops AND the ones women often need the most, (Victoria's Secret, Gap, Banana Republic, Macy's). While you're at it, you can watch a movie or dine at some GREAT restaurants, Johnny Rockets, PF Changs, etc. With that said, I think everyone that lives or visits Miami should appreciate this fine and decadent shopping area. read more

This mall is so beautiful. I have only been here a few times and I plan to come back soon. I love the open floor plan and absolutely love the waterfalls. It is so peaceful. While I was here the last time I saw about 4 cats hanging out in the waterfalls and that just made my day because I absolutely love and adore cats. The falls.. one of my faves When i first moved out to miami from NY, the idea of an outdoor mall scared me, but i have grown to love this idea. Its so nice to just walk around on a cool(er) miami day and just enjoy the area. My fave stops would have to be at crate and barrel and william-sonoma. The apple store used to be one of my faves until they redid it... now its crazy and makes me want to just buy apple things online. but thats another review... I usually go here durring the christmas season since its cooler and the bigger malls are more crowded. You aren't being walked on top of and the atmosphere says christmas without the crazy shoppers to prove it. Its also right across the street from my favorite scrapbook place (scrapbooks and stuff) so when i'm in scrapping mode i usually make a trip out over to the falls to just walk around. The Galls is a great non crowded shopping center. It's outdoors so it can get hotbox the summer but it's absolutely lovely in fall and winter. It is completely covered so don't worry about getting rained on. It has beautiful gardens and waterfalls and all it's lush scenery. It has your major department stores like Macy's and Bloomingdales and your small boutiques like BCBG and Brooks brothers. You can literally spend the whole day here. There's plenty of dining options from a crepe to PF Changs. Then there's also the movie theaters. You can get it all done here. Including grocery shopping. Yes, grocery shopping. On premises is also the fancy shmancy grocery store "Fresh Market". Love this place for so many reasons. read more

Was in this Aldo last Saturday and they were having a great sale on their summer shoes, and I must say it again, I love their shoes, boots and purses. Even though the prices are reasonable, the product always looks more high end than it actually is. The same thing goes for their jewelry, I can buy a 15- necklace at Aldo, then go to forever 21 and find almost the exact same for 5-, but the difference in quality and durability is worth paying the extra money. Did I say most of the jewelry is beautiful? I always get compliments on any jewelry from here! I had a pair of sugar skull earrings from here a couple of years ago which my daughter and I both wore, and not once when we wore them did we fail to get at least one compliment on them! I always look for them every time I go in an Aldo store, I wish they would get them back. Back to my review for this location, small store, with good selection, friendly, patient young man waited on us, AND remembered to give me my 40- coupon for a future purchase! YAY! read more

Visually appealing. The layout is very well designed. The storefronts are plentiful and varied. For Florida the rating is 5 stars however I'm using my rating system of worldwide rankings: as I have lived in the Middle East / South East Asia / Europe and of course the US. I was also impressed with the cleanliness. The average store has mediocre service as is the typical standard for South Florida. The clientele seem to be better behaved with manners. Discount/Deals are to be had but not frequent. There is an Apple Store. The parking lot is spacious. Accessibility is good from all directions. If I lived closer, my wife and I would visit more often. read more

Nice mall located in the Falls area. There is a good amount of retail stores like Macy's and some decent restaurants and a movie theater. Plenty of parking and security around. They also have a fountain of water with a rock formations that produce tranquil sounds to seat down by it and relax after a stressful day of shopping. read more

When visiting Miami, I always end up visiting the Falls. Whether you know exactly what you're looking for, or just want to sit and people watch, this outdoor mall has something for everyone. I would characterize it as a "mid-end" mall with the highest end of its stores probably being Bloomingdales. Unless it's raining or really overcast, it's a completely pleasurable experience walking this mall with it's beautiful fountains and foot bridges over the water. Some of the highlights are the movie theater where, after your movie, you can go right next door to Johnny Rockets for a burger and shake or to Haagen Dazs for an ice cream. Both the Bloomingdales and Macy's are well stocked with merchandise. For the kids there's everything from a video game store to a Build-a-Bear shop. If looking to shop high end stores, you'll be better of at Merrick Park or Lincoln Road. However, if you're good with the more down to earth fare offered by The Falls, you won't be sorry taking a trip over to do some shopping. read more

This is one of my favorite Malls to shop at on a sunny afternoon. Not only do they have essential stores like Express, Victoria's Secret, Bloomingdale's, Pottery Barn and BCBG but after a day of shopping nothing beats P.F. Chang's, TGIF, or Los Ranchos. Great outdoor atmosphere which takes advantage of the Miami weather. I recommend going to their website and seeing what stores are here, as this is a pretty small shopping mall compared to the other shopping malls in Miami. It's kind of hard to review a place that you have frequented for most of your life. I guess that the fact that I *have* been coming here since the beginning is testament enough. I loved when the movie theater had $1 midnight movies many, many years ago. Huge plus for me has always been that it is an outdoor mall. Not so much fun when it is 100 degrees in the shade or when it's raining though. This is definitely not a place to spend a rainy day, especially since you will likely have to swim back to your car. I love that they now have those comfy cushion couches where I can plant my husband when he begins getting cranky and acting like a child. Or, I can send him to play at the Apple Store! Good mall -- store selection wise. I enjoy all the outside walking and scenery. Giving it 3 starts for now, because most of the scenic areas in center of mall were tapped off for construction as were the bridges and fountains---- totally killed the vive. When did the falls become so classless? They've replaced many of the stores we used to frequent certain times of year with shinny Urban trash. I used to go to the Walkings for example now there is a store there called "Erge". There was a time when you walk through the falls and actually here the cascading of the water feature over everything but now you can barely make out a drop over the distinct and voluminous sounds of Hialeah, Little Havana, West Miami, and West Chester. Unfortunately my opinion is the same for Dadeland. read more

This is the best mall in Miami. Hands down. The Falls has something for everyone. They have several play areas for kids, even a little train they can ride, a movie theater, and a good range of restaurants. It has the big staple stores like Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Apple, Express, and GAP. As well as some great boutique style stores like Love Culture, Francesca's closet, and Michael Kors. It's an outdoor mall with a beautiful water/river feature going through the whole center of the mall... and they do an excellent job of decorating it during holidays. There are cats and ducks that kind of strangely walk around and live within the brush surrounding the waterways and I actually love it. In fact I'm 100% sure everyone loves the cats and the ducks. They add to the experience. They have a plaza where they tend to have live music playing. There's plenty of places to sit and just relax. The outdoor seating is actually very comfortable (weather proof cushions and umbrellas where there is no cover) and some seating areas have charging stations. No paying for parking here. It can get busy but you can always find a place to park either in the lots or in the garage. They do events too like parades and Christmas shows, they have a Santa Claus & the Easter Bunny for kids to take pictures with. Overall great mall that's not just for shopping but great for just some relaxing in an open air environment. read more

Nice outdoor mall. Lots of stores. Great outdoor feel with bridges and fountains. Didn't see any unique stores that aren't in other malls. I did like that they had a William Sonoma and also an American Girl store (which I think had a tea party room next door). They also had a Swarovski Crystal store which, I think, is always fun to look at. Got a necklace there. I didn't drive here but I think the parking was free which is always a plus. read more

Miami rush hour traffic is pretty bad, it still moves but still bad. Nevertheless, I braved the hour long trip during rush hour traffic (5:30pm-6:30pm on a Tuesday) to get to this mall. I believe this place is located closer to the 'burbs than i expected which is actually nice if you need a place to relax and get away from the higher energy areas of Miami/Miami Beach. When I reached the mall, parking was simple, the mall's ambiance was peaceful (the water flowing throughout the mall is a nice touch), and quality customer service exists here! Living in Hawaii, I sometimes take water and the outdoors for granted but I think there is a definite benefit for having a mall like this in Miami for people to unwind and shop. I'm surprised that I'm reviewing a mall, but this mall could turn me into a mall rat if I lived in Miami. read more

By far, this is the most pleasant shopping mall in all of South Florida. Even when it's busy (like it was the Saturday night after Thanksgiving), it doesn't feel as slammed as other malls might feel (I'm thinking about you, Dadeland!) under similar conditions. They've got many of the major retailers you look for in a mall, and the open air aspect along with their signature "falls" make this a great destination for your next shopping excursion. The Falls is certainly my go-to when I don't feel like dealing with the parking or crowd at other malls like Dolphin or even Dadeland. It's also very pleasing to look at with it's beautiful landscaping. There was a time where many of the shops had closed but things are starting to pick-up again. This mall used to be my favorite in all of Miami. The outdoor space, fountains and landscaping are beautiful but I think it's lacking the energy of other Miami area malls. They've added some nice stores and additions...Fresh Market, etc, but it seemed kind of dead...even on a weekend. My favorite thing about the mall would probably be the ambiance. I love the man-made "river" that goes throughout the whole mall, the waterfalls, the palm trees, and how you're walking either on stone or wood. It's a very pretty place to be. They should open up a nice trendy restaurant that lets you eat near the water. They have a lot of popular chain stores and then a couple more "privately owned" stores. It's a very good mix of trendy and polished clothing. The mall is right across from the pinecrest area so you better expect to cough up some money. Most of the stores are higher end and pricey but the merchandise is good quality. The only thing I have to say is the mall should invest some money in rennovating the stores, especially the theater. It's starting to look a bit run down and out-of-date. This place deserves a face lift! read more

The Falls is really a quality shopping experience. There is an array of food occupying all wallet and palette types. I really enjoy the service quality of all the restaurants, ranging from T.G.I. Friday's, P.F. Chang's, Los Ranchos, and many more. The shopping experience here is also top-choice, and you have a really great choice of department stores, electronics stores, home furnishing places, and of course clothing shops. Aesthetically, the mall is really unique. With a beautiful water feature running down the spine of the mall, it's almost as if all the stores were floating on a river, and it's nice to simply sit wan relax in between stores. read more

If you are in Miami for a few days make sure you take a day to visit the Falls, a wonderful semi-open shopping experience. Bounded on one end by Bloomingdales and on the other by Macey's, and in beteen a great variety of outlets. The setting here is amazing. The Mall is so named because of the many mini waterfalls in the gently flowing river set amongst a stunning oasis of sub-tropical land-scaping which runs down centre the whole length of the plaza. Here you can buy authentic designer chic and then wander into an aladdins cave of childish joy, or sate your senses in a store crammed with the most exotically scented candles. Need a break from shopping? You have a choice of restaurants, but for a taste of 70's America make sure to visit Johnny Rockets; nows heres' an experience.retro seating, staff with neat hats, milk shakes from a real shaker and coffee that froths. The food is excellent and the service friendly and always with a smile. If you are lucky you may catch the staff doing their trade-mark dance to one of the many Rock'n'Roll tunes from a 100% genuine juke-box. If your taste is more selective there is a Chinese Restaurant at the west end of the Plaza marked out side by an enormous statue of a horse. Or cross the road by the east end and have a meal in one of the most entertaining Japanese outlets in Miami, the famous Benihana Samurai Japanese Steakhouse; not just a meal, an experience! Back to the plaza and more to buy! Anything for everyone. You can stand on one of the picturesque bridges that spans the water that flows down the centre of the plaza and chill as the avid shoppers amongst you lose themselves in Macey's or Bloomingdales. If you have the time there is a multiplex cinema complex with all the latest blockbusters on screen. If I can give this place no stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Waited 45 minutes for an appetizer to get cold mozzarella sticks... a part of the endless apps that were not so endless. Not to mention the table next to me a party of 10 waited over 2 hours or more to get they're meals, never received refills on they're drinks or appetizers either. Not the only ones to complain either. I know Friday nights get busy but this service from the kitchen and staff was beyond ridiculous. Asked to speak to a manager over 4 times, she/he never showed. Beautiful mall. Gives off a very home-y feeling (though this may be unique to me since I spent a lot of time here as a youngster.) The mall has a great location, relaxing ambience (surrounded by mini "waterfalls" spread throughout the mall), and the perfect combination between restaurants and stores. The people in the mall have always seemed to be very decent and polite (when in comparison to many other malls in Miami.) I would recommend this mall to anyone looking to get more "relaxing" vibes in a mall (which is a good change considering it is within a city which is always moving at full speed.) read more

Oh the falls... One always falls. This is your typical, quiet high end mall. The variety of stores is appealing but the prices are always high. so besides the little gangs of teenagers on saturday nights, this place is a decent place to shop, large enough of a selection and not that crowded. It's not very big, but it has a movie theatre, starbucks, macys and apple store, so that's enough to make me happy and definitely more manageable than some of the other malls.
