I was also able to get an eye exam done ($85.00) which was lightning quick. It only took 10-15 minutes to do all the tests and checkups. The optometrist (Dr. Johal) is available for appointments every other Saturday. As for selection, there's all the high end brand names you could want: Ray Ban, Oakley, Gucci, Hugo Boss, etc. If there's something you specifically want that's not on display, Winnie can order it in for you. Her customer service is amazing plus she has a great eye for what frames work well with your face shape. Their prices can't be beat, they had a buy one get one free code, plus free aviator sunglasses. So I got 2 pairs of frames and a pair of aviator sunglasses for $59, plus a $9.90 handling charge (shipping is technically free, but I consider the $9.90 "shipping and handling.") I really like the look of plastic frames, but I also like nose pads on glasses (as I like to be able to adjust how far the frames sit away from my face), and plastic frames with nose pads are a rarity. "ILook Glasses" had several different pairs of these rare beasts. Although I ended up only finding one style that I liked of these glasses. The second pair I got did not have nose pads, but the nose piece was a bit more elevated so the glasses wouldn't sit too close to my face. Their customer service is outstanding. After I placed my order, I got an email alerting me that one of the frames that I selected was categorized as a "small/narrow frame" and for me to review the measurements and confirm that I wanted to proceed with these frames. I do have a small face, but after looking at the measurements again, I decided to change it to a bigger frame as I don't want the glasses to squeeze my face and I'd rather err on the side of oversized than too tiny, lol. They also wanted to double check with me that I intended to order the frames without corrective lenses in them, as I did not enter a prescription. I thought this was a valid concern and very thorough of them. I confirmed that I did not want corrective lenses in them (I didn't admit to them that I have a local optician who I like and trust and prefer to have him do my lenses, it's just his frames selection is not to my liking, lol). Anyway, shipping was really quick, as they ship ExpressPost via Canada Post. The quality of the frames is good from what I can tell. They seem to be a bit more lightweight and delicate than the ones I've purchased from clearly.ca (formerly Clearly Contacts, who I'm sure is their main competitor). I like that they have unique styles. Although none of their frames are brand names. You won't find any designer frames. I think they are all house brands exclusive to ilookglasses. The glasses came with a plain black case with ilookglasses printed on it and also a cleaning cloth also branded ilookglasses. The Aviator sunglasses are admittedly a bit flimsy looking and totally not my style, but hey, they were free. They came in a microfibre cloth bag. Overall, I am very impressed with the frames and customer service. I would order from them again.
