Do not go to Dr. Wolff! A pre-op appointment was set up for my toddler son by his office staff for…read moremy husband and I to take my son to at the hospital. The lady at Dr. Wolff's office set up the appointment and specifically told me that I was to take my son to the ARMC hospital the day of the appointment, to have COVID testing done and to speak with an anesthesiologist. Well on the day of the appointment, the hospital had no knowledge of the appointment. I had to call back and forth from the hospital to Dr. Wolff's office to find the issue. The lady at Dr. Wolff's office realized that she made a mistake and did not inform us correctly that the appointment was not suppose to be in person BUT over the phone appointment. Mind you, we had not received a call the morning of his appointment, my husband drove my son out to the hospital and sat in the waiting room where COVID is still going around, the hospital has no knowledge of the appointment, it was suppose to be a phone call appointment, and get this!! The best part was......we were told the appointment was suppose to actually be the next day. We were beyond frustrated at this point that me and my husband canceled the appointment and left the appointment. Then on top of that. I write a review on google and Dr. Wolff shifts blame saying that my husband walked out because of the $500 deductible we were asked to pay and Dr. Wolff is not employed by ARMC and he shouldn't be blamed for their concerns. Trust me, we knew the costs way ahead of time so we were prepared for that going on in and for Dr. Wolff to try to blame ARMC for his office staff's own mistake is wrong! ARMC had NO dog in the fight. So rather than taking the blame himself and for his staff, he blames everyone else. So the real issue here is Dr. Wolff. Stay away from this place. He doesn't provide true patient care.

That's when I found District at Home because of a colleague that uses them for respite care for her dad. I called Deja, the owner. She met with us at my mother's the very next day. She didn't rush the conversation. She listened. She answered every question like a real person who cared about the outcome. That's when the trust clicked in, and the decision was made to let District take over 24 hour care for mom! And let me tell you... it's been about 4 months now and the caregivers show up with patience, compassion, awareness, and intention. They treat my mother like a whole person, not a task. They care for her safety, dignity, mobility, meals, and daily engagement in a way that constantly reassures the family, especially being far away at times. One of my 2 front teeth had been bothering me so I made an appointment with Dr. Loftin who I…read morepreviously had thought was a good dentist. His diagnosis was that I had a broken root and he would have to surgically extract the tooth and replace it with a bridge(remove my front tooth and replace with a false tooth OMG). The cost would be over 6000 dollars. He slso said that it needed to be done right away or the infection would eat away my bone. Scare tactic? During my exam I got the feeling that he wasn't sure about the diagnosis but he was going with it nevertheless. Well 6000 dollars is a lot of money and I wasn't happy about false teeth so I got a second opinion with Dr. David Fisher. Dr Fisher wasn't sure either. He felt like all I needed was a root canal but had the humility to send me to an endodontist, Dr Prenard Mickens just to be sure. Dr. Mickens is the best endodontist I have ever been to and I trust his opinion and not surprisingly thrilled when he confirmed all I needed was a root canal and the bill was less than 1000 dollars. He was appalled at Dr. Loftins diagnosis.

Jessica helped me through a very difficult natural labor. She was amazing. We also used her…read morephotography services and she gave us photos and a video to cherish for life. She was so supportive and attentive when I was exhausted and starving during the hours of unmedicated childbirth. My water broke early and she did everything to help me get through my childbirth naturally. I had terrible back labor that left me crawling up the walls practically and she worked with me to get me in the position that was best for me. She also helped my husband be a huge help to me. She used hip squeezes, positioning my body, giving me small sips of water, cooling me off with a cloth, breathing techniques all of which were absolutely life saving for me. She coached me through the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. She is supportive and super encouraging. Her voice was an anchor for me during it all. I can still hear her loving voice comforting me saying your baby is almost here. One breath at a time. Just breathe and have a sip of water." I don't know how I would have made it through without her. I don't want to even try. :) I highly recommend her and will gladly call her again for baby number 3. God bless
