When you first walk in the door, you don't get that creepy feeling that you are being sized up for how much money you have, and how much blood that they can get out of a stone. I have always found that everyone there is as eager to please as a puppy dog, and just as friendly, (but more well-mannered! LOL!) I think that it is an important distinction that the sales staff DOES NOT work on commission. It has been my experience that the foresight of Lee in this regard liberates his people to take great care in satisfying the client, whether they want a $50 pair of earrings, or a $10,000 ring. I have purchased about 20 pieces at Sam's Emporium, and they can count on my continued custom. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen!

Nick did a great job buying my silver coin collection worth about $20K…read more Since there were so many coins he recommended me leaving the collection with him over the weekend so he could inventory it. I went back into his shop on Monday and he explained what the coins were worth (at market rate). He was also very upfront and transparent on his fees (which ended up being around 10%). Everything seemed reasonable so I proceeded forward. He wrote me a check and kept the silver and the transaction was complete. It couldn't have been any easier. His shop was modern, clean and well organized. He was professional and polite through the entire process. In all a very positive experience and I recommend his service. I was then told I needed to call and get a quote then the wire information would be emailed to me. I wanted to make a 7oz gold purchase. When I called they were busy. No message taken; I had to call back. I called back and now they need a local bank; Capital One isn't good enough. Now they will take a cashiers check even thought their website said they won't I know gold is rising. But a sale is a sale (or at least I thought.). ( it was a gift) all the more reason this review really touches my heart. Her necklace broke a few weeks ago, needless to say- I told her I would absolutely get it fixed! I was thinking about all of my different options to take this overpriced, but cute necklace ‍ And then it hit me! The Pawn Shop! I have previous awesome experiences with this pawn shop, dealing with my engagement ring, and left very pleased. Well, this trip did not fail to impress! I showed the broken necklace to a gentleman working there- only to find out that it could not be fixed due to the fact that the jeweler wouldn't even touch it due to the fact that it's not a precious metal. As I was about to leave disappointed, a EXTREMELY KIND INDIVIDUAL named EMILY stepped up and asked to see it. She then started to try to figure out how she could "fix" my daughter's necklace- even taking off her own jewelry to try to find the " right piece needed "- WHICH SHE DID!!!!!! (Actually came from a little hidden bundle of gems)Literally one of the kindest acts I have come across in a while- AND AT THE DANG PAWN SHOP!‍ who would've guessed ‍ at the end of all of this, I left very happy and can't wait to share this news with my daughter Thank you so much Emily! You truly made my day! God Bless you in many ways sweetheart Keep doing you and being amazing
