We were in an escaping mood so we tried The Escape Tulsa which is located inside a "haunted house". Parking was very limited but I think it worked for our group of 7. We tried their "Alien" room which had a 37% success rate and we completed it in less than 40 minutes with 20 minutes to spare. It was an okay room. Staff was nice and restrooms were clean. Other than that, the room didn't have as much difficulty or variety in it. You exit through the same door that you entered from and that's not fun for me because it leaves no room for excitement. It was an okay experience and I do not plan to go back because if that room had a 37% success rate and it was the 'scarier' and more professional escape room, I do not want to experience another. read more

Our person took so long to come to our room when it was literally up a few stairs. Wasting our time. Then too make it worse we were one thing away from escaping and they come in and say that the thing is having technical difficulties. So we didn't escape. This was my first time in an escape room. But the ppl with us had been to at least three others locations and had been to good ones and less than great ... and this one is less than great. . I thought it was fair but not great. Very nice staff. All the clues etc were hand made. The rooms are in a very OLD house, not state of the art. The hint button brings the staff up to the room to deliver the hint instead of on the screen, immediately. Although we enjoyed spending time together as friends/family the "excellence" was very lacking I won't go back to this particular place again. read more

Great puzzle solving rooms in Tulsa. Much like there location in OKC. They change the themes of each room about once a year, and now they offer clues for time penalties. Super fun and challenging. Did this for a work event and it was a great competition to have teams play against each other. A little pricey for private events. read more

All I can say is that out of the 6 escape rooms I've done around the country, this one was, by far, the best. No really, that's all I can say. I'm not allowed to tell you any of the secret things you need to do to get out (although I really, really want to!) We were visiting some friends in Grove, Ok from California in October 2016 and decided to take them to an escape room as they had never done one before. We had 4 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 7 and wanted one that would accommodate all of us. After calling a few places this one fit the bill perfectly. We started with their easiest room (I think) and although the adults did most of the work there was plenty of cool things for the kids to do too so they felt included. They had a blast doing the (redacted: can't tell you) and the (redacted: same reason) those were both really cool. There were sooo many things to do and figure out that we didn't think we were going to finish in time, but we did. We also did another room upstairs which was one of their harder rooms which we didn't escape from. Our kids didn't have as much fun in this one because it was geared towards older more experienced people. We still had fun though. The workers (owners?) were really nice and accommodating and made us feel welcome. HIGHLY recommend! We will definitely return. PS-We just did another escape room in Las Vegas 2 days ago and it was horrible compared to this one. Escape Tulsa will forever be the escape room by which all others are measured. read more

Come here as a group of 4, all of us for the first time. We had a really fun time and enjoyed the challenge. We didn't get out but came very close. Would definitely recommend. I am going to try to see if my sales team can do this as a team building activity. read more

Whole family (everybody over 23 years old) went and had a great time. We picked the murder room and were able to solve in about 45 minutes. Certainly was not easy but the six of us were able to work through the puzzles and get is solved. I would think that high schoolers and older would be fine at this room but middle school and below might get bored easily. Puzzles are not easy. The furnishings for this house and for our puzzle room were pretty sparce. Not sure what I was expecting but there is very little in the room besides what you need to solve the puzzle. We all said we would go back and do another room in the future. Highly recommend! A quick word on parking - we came in from the east and parked on the street. The main parking and main entrance are on the west side - I'd recommend parking there. Super friendly staff who explained everything well before we went in. Final recommendation - do this with six people you know - my personal opinion is that doing this with folks you don't know would be a different experience. read more

This was such a great time. The staff was really friendly and my group had a great time. The facility was really clean as through. If you go, you have to be with an "organization" or a company. I went with my boyfriend and his siblings and it was a great bonding experience. Definitely get there ten minutes early. We bought through Groupon for 6 of us. It was a lot Of fun and they helped us when we needed it. We were one clue away from completing. They started us on the medium level. We probably should have done an easier one since it was our first time and we had a 10 year old in our group that was lost most of the time. We also had three 13 year olds and it was still challenging, without help we would have never gotten so far. I loved searching the rooms though!! This place is awesome!!! Went with family to try out the Escape. You get put in a room and have to use items and clues you find to get out! We went right down to the buzzer and didn't have much time to spare to make it out. I will definitely be back to try out the other rooms! read more

We had a great time. It was the first time any of us had ever done an escape room. Mac and Noah were great! Mac suggested a room that would work better for our large group of guys and Noah gave us good hints to help us. It was just hard enough that we finished with seven minutes to spare. We will be back. I've been three times. The first time, we got out. The next two times, we were all taken to jail or were killed by the mad professor (I think). Every room is different and very few months, they change the scenario of how to get out. read more

Our company has used The Escape Tulsa for team building events on 3 occasions. Each time the teams involved seemed to have a blast whether they were successful or not at escaping. The teams definitely had to worked together. Wish they could start the teams at the same time versus every 15 minutes. read more

There's not much I can say that the other reviewers haven't already said. Go early so you can have time to figure out how and where to park. My group was 6 people and the theme of our room was USSR related. We finished 20 min early and it would've been cool to have a discount to incentivize our return. I will mention they gave us 5$ off t-shirts for an early finish. I love problem solving and logic so I'm definitely interested in returning. read more

Had some friends with us from out of town and wanted to do something different. Looked into the escape room options we had in in Tulsa and decided on this one. Glad I did because it did not disappoint. Since it was the first one that any of us had ever done, we started off rough just trying to figure out how the whole thing worked but after we got going we were on a roll. we escaped the room and had 11 minutes to spare. we all had a lot of fun doing it and everyone was glad we did. I can see how someone who has done a lot these rooms before could figure it out faster and might need more of a challenge but I know for us newbies it was awesome! I LOVE the Escape Tulsa. This place is what I compare all other escape rooms I've been at to. The rooms are immersive, challenging, and the location is awesome. The staff are awesome and I wish someone would wipe my memory just so I could do their rooms again. Area 405 is my favorite for sure. This was the first time I had experienced this adventure, so didn't really know what to expect. I was slightly concerned it might be lame puzzles, etc. from description on website, so kept expectations low yet curious. It exceeded my expectations greatly. The staff are friendly and helpful first of all, making the experience better. Then the actual room was more technologically advanced and difficult than I expected. While we didn't "get out of the room" in the hour time frame, we did well. I like challenges and this was definitely a worth-while one. My friends and I had a great time! We enjoyed the time we spent at the activity, but we completed in 18 minutes! On the website it said 38% success rate but we did it easily. Disappointed that we weren't challenged and we felt like we were ripped off for the cost. I don't feel that we are "expert detectives" by any means and we made it look easy.
