The lavender fields with the store and seating area in the distance.

This was such a cute little place. Rows of lavender on the hill, benches and other seating areas scattered around the field so you can sit and enjoy the lavender. A beautiful arbor at the top of the hill with wisteria growing on it. Nice views. The store and seating area is very nicely appointed. They sell every product you could ever want with lavender, from various honeys and jams, to lotions, soaps, heating pads, sachets and more. Everyone will find several things they want to buy. Definitely try the gelato! We had the strawberry lavender and marionberry lavender and they were both delicious!

The soft hum of the bees enjoying the lavender is so soothing.

I reached out to Sue at the lavender farm to ask about doing a little tour with our homeschool group. She was absolutely wonderful and accommodating. She talked to us about all the different varieties they grow, showed the kids how to clip the stems, taught us about their essential oil distillation process, and we topped the day off with a picnic and some of their delicious treats! The strawberry lavender lemonade is a must try and my kids loved the ice creams they had. They have a shop with a great variety of lavender goods, as well as a lovely shaded patio with tables and chairs you can sit back and relax and enjoy the beauty. This is a fantastic place run by the sweetest family. I'm eager to go back and take some friends.

I absolutely loved this place. The lavender was beautiful and it was so nice to sit in the middle of the field and listen to the bees while drinking lavender lemonade and eating lemon lavender sorbet! I also enjoyed being able to cut my own lavender to take home!

This place is an oasis. The owners are the kindest people and so willing to talk and teach people about how they run their lavender farm. Their dog Cooper was especially attentive to guests and quite a host. If you have any moment where you wonder if you should visit, just do it. I am so in love with my lavender wreath and lavender vanilla candle. Also, have the limoncello lavender ice cream when you visit. It may just be their secret gem. I will be back every year!!

We stopped by the English Lavender Farm after visiting Oregon Caves National Monument. It was such a wonderful place as the end our little trip, which release the pressure a lot. At first, I scheduled 1 hour here. I didn't know that my husband would love this place so much. He enjoyed the conversation with the owner and the staff. Learning the skills of planting lavenders. The owner was very kind. The staff also told me that I can't miss the lavender caramel chocolates, $5.00. So delicious and addictive! I should buy 10 boxes with me, not just only one. I can't forget the chocolates and will definitely buy some from their website in the winter in case it would melt by the heat. I can't wait for it. We had a lot of fun and memories here. The smell of the lavenders made the following 8 hours driving easier. Thank you the English Lavender Farm.

Wow!! What fun i had today making a beautiful lavender wreath!! This place is way out peaceful Thompson Creek Rd. ,and with the breeze blowing onto the patio where we were making out wreaths...it was so relaxing and almost perfect!! The owner is a lovely lady definitely catering to her customers. When i was there, she was making some lavender essential oils...the fragrance was wonderful!! And her lavender lemonade, which we were served while making our wreaths...yummy!! The gift house was well stocked with all sorts of lavender items..from teas, sachets, oils to lavender melting wax, hand lotion ( to die for!!), and jellies!! The lavender, just harvested by the way, was drying in the store too!! Wow!! Needless to say, after my class and shopping inside the store, i had the most relaxing drive home!!

We see these folks every week at the grower's market in GP, but today was our first time to the farm. They had amazing ice cream and, out of all the lavender farms we hit today, this is our favorite!

The amazing strawberry lavender lemonade! :)

Amazingly GORGEOUS little lavender fields and a place with joyful folk, great sights, sweet smells, and absolutely delicious treats! The owners are truly lovely and care enough to engage with you and provide wonderful information. It was a day to smile at since it was the Southern Oregon Lavender Festival, but I have no doubt whatsoever that this Applegate gem is a festive, merry spot year-round! Visit! The drive itself is gorgeous, too! Try the lavender salted caramel chocolate and the strawberry lavender lemonade!

I do not like blue cheese. I'll get that out of the way first. But Rogue Creamery with their world…read morerenowned cheese? There's no way I could resist visiting. On a weekday morning right during opening, as soon as I opened the front door, I could smell funky blue cheese wafting through the entire shop. Rogue Creamery doesn't make many types of cheese - just a couple of blues and cheddar, nestled in a single refrigerated display case, but they also offer other cheeses from several different outside suppliers. To complete a cheese plate, they also sell an assortment of charcuterie items like jams and honeys, and plenty of items in the fridge. Of course, since we were traveling, we couldn't exactly buy much, so we went with one of their famous grilled cheeses: Classic Rogue Grilled Cheese ($8) - This sandwich includes a drizzle of honey on both faces of bread followed by a sprinkle of blue cheese. and then a veritable mound of cheddar, which is then sandwiched together and pressed in a panini press. The amount of cheese included creates an awesome cheese stretch. The sandwich is rich and fatty, and the bread, cheese, and honey blends creates a somewhat salty, funky and sweet bite. While the bread is toasted, I don't believed it's buttered, so it isn't that crisp. I'd like to see some additional crunchy elements in the sandwich - perhaps some toasted nuts? I dislike blue cheese immensely, but it's surprisingly mild and sweet in this sandwich, being blended and balanced with the cheddar. Would I get this sandwich again? Probably not, due to the blue cheese, but it was great to try! Rogue Creamery Rogue Gold Pepper Spread Spicy, 8oz ($7.25) - This seems to be Rogue Creamery's version of pimento cheese, colored orange by addition of plenty of red colored piquillo peppers. That adds a delightful mild spiciness along with a flavor that is kind of fruity and very peppery, different from pimentos. The cheese is high quality and there isn't any liquid precipitating out of the spread. It's easy to spread while still having plenty of soft cheese shreds. It's a great replacement for pimento cheese and I ate most of it spread on biscuits and baguette slices. (5/5) PS: Make sure to look at the best buy dates. The first couple of containers in the front looked kind of funky with oils/liquids precipitating out of the cheese. Turns out those were expiring/best by the day I went. Further back there were much fresher looking ones packed the previous day, which is what I chose to buy. Note: Do not follow google directions for parking - instead, the parking lot is a little bit to the South, right in front of a wine tasting bar and bakery. Bathrooms - Single unisex
