I thoroughly enjoyed myself on all occasions: Applinger is a magic place right off I-5 with beautiful scenery, tranquil setting, and of course Bubba the horse (for whom they gave me carrots to share w/him both ways). The Orchard Suite is beautiful and comfortable, and Lisa does all that she can to make it memorable. I really don't even have any little complaints, except that I can't just check out of my busy life and stay there. Can heartily recommend and will certainly return myself - can't wait.

We really enjoyed the vendors and purchased a few things. The coffee vendor they had there made us a delicious breve. Our only recommendation for the night show is to maybe put out some luminaries or a little lighting for those of us who would've liked to grab some popcorn in the middle of the movie. But we were kind of afraid to make the walk since it was so dark.

They could hear his footsteps, he's HERE! The magnolias were scented, some and they're very beautiful at this time. There are other flowers, that were currently blooming, see photos. I'm impressed! It's small! But, I love it, that it's so close to Lithia Park, where we were earlier. I made a separate photo album, just for the Japanese Garden. I will definitely come visit, next time we're in Ashland. 2nd best part about this park? It IS FREE!

Unlike other U-pick farms, their prices are very reasonable, around $1.50 per pound, and they decrease later in the season. They have such an abundance of peaches that they just want to clear them out! In addition to peaches, they also sell other fruits and vegetables depending on the time of year. This time, they had massive zucchini and loads of corn! I always grab some local honey too, which is both reasonably priced and delicious. I'm amazed that more people don't know about this local gem!
