My wife who loves puns...regarded this souvenir store in Weed, CA as a must stop! They had the usual items a souvenir store would have but I have to admit it was very funny to find shirts in bold letters "Weed Police Dept" or "Weed University" They only offer souvenirs ! The attendants were very friendly...and it was wonderful chatting with them. It's not a big store but they sure have a lot of different ways to incorporate "Weed" into the various souvenirs. Nice collection of different souvenirs [Weed CA] We always pass through the town of Weed when heading up to north to OR. Not once did we ever stop... that is, until this past Memorial Day weekend. First thing we saw off the freeway was this souvenir shop. As one can expect all the souvenirs were about the City of Weed -- stickers, magnets, apparel, hats, mugs, shot glasses, tote bags, also a small section on Bigfoot. LoL! The young employee working that day was very friendly and shared some places to see like the McCloud Mushroom Festival which ran for two days over the weekend and the location of the most recent wildfire which caused significant damage to the town of Weed, the Mill Fire in 2022. The other one was the Boles Fire in 2014. I digress... anyway, we purchased a couple of souvenir shirts and a few souvenirs for my co-workers in MN. They'll get a kick out of "Weed" written all over the souvenirs. Consequently, the name of the town is from the founder and pioneer, Abner Weed. I always stop in at the Weed Store when passing through the area. The workers are always friendly and happy. They have a great assortment of Weed merchandise. From lighters to t-shirts, mugs, shot glasses, they have all kinds of things. They always have their staple I Love Weed! shirts, shot glasses, stickers and mugs, but their other merchandise changes after time. They also sell postcards, and prints of photos of the area that are gorgeous. If your in the area you should definitely check it out. read more

The Weed Store is located on the corner of Weed Blvd and Boles St, very easy to spot, just look for the big "Welcome to Weed" sign on the side of the store. My husband, our little girl dog and I decided to stop and visit this store as an impromptu visit. We parked across the street, although there is also a small parking lot on Boles St. When we walked in this morning, a little after 10 am, we were greeted by a friendly employee behind the register. There was only one other customer inside (and then a few other customers came in during our shopping trip but for the most part, it was pretty quiet). The store itself is small but there are plenty of I (heart) Weed souvenirs that you can buy, that includes shirts, sweaters, hats, cups, shot glasses and stickers and also Mount Shasta calendars, posters and books. As soon as I saw the I (heart) Weed dog shirt (currently $13.50 prior to tax), I knew I had to get one for my little girl. It was helpful that she was in the store with me so I could try the size I thought would fit her, on her. I also got my husband a matching shirt and I got myself a shirt too (because why not? Now the whole family can let others know how much we love Weed... California). Service was friendly. Prices are what you would expect for a tourist store. I've traveled quite a bit between the Bay Area, CA all the way up to Washington State, and of all the times I've driven through I have never stopped and explored the wonder that is the City of Weed, Ca. This trip we stopped at The Weed Store. I wanted to get some little things for the kids upon our return. This store is worth a stop. They have a wonderful selection of shirts. I bought a fantastic tank top and a really cool Big Foot/Weed, CA themed shirt for my son. My man got a cute T-shirt too that I have been know to steal and wear as my own as well. For my daughter I got multiple chotzkys and both got a Weed, Ca tin of chewing gum. The store is well organized and incredibly clean. I would say that if you're looking for unique gifts for family, especially kids Id swing by and pick something up. Its a really great store. While you're at it, take a drive around town. I understand how things are difficult and especially for a tourist based souvenir shop but the clerk was very friendly and had her Personal Protective Equipment. There are alot of beautiful pictures of Mt. Shasta for sale along with magnets and postcards which we got some so we can send to our friends in Washington! I had to stop by this place on my drive back to southern California. This is a small shop in the town of Weed, CA. Yes, WEED is a small city in California. The guy at the shop was pretty friendly and shared some cool facts about the town. I was able to get lots of little trinkets and souvenirs to bring back. One of our family members forgot his wallet at this place. The staff person was kind enough to send him a message on facebook to let him know where his wallet was. When my family member called to ask if the wallet was there, he offered to mail the wallet to him so that he didn't have to back track. The very second I saw the billboard for this store with the T-shirt that says "I heart WEED", I knew we had to stop in. Even if you don't smoke pot, the little kid in all of us will point and stupidly giggle at all the goofy products with the word weed on it. This place will definitely reawaken your inner five year old. They have "I heart WEED" shirts and sweaters. "I heart WEED" coffee mugs and travel mugs. "I heart WEED" magnets, key chains, even stuffed animals. Bumper stickers, temporary tattoos, pens, pencils, and pretty much anything you can think of they have an "I heart WEED" on. Stacy was the gentleman running the register. His personality and humor totally fit in with the place. He was loud, and just obnoxious enough to keep you laughing. There is something amazing about a town that can see the humor in their own name. The fact that this store exists shows that they are playing to what the people want. Fun! Weed, CA was a quick pitstop town on my way through northern California, and when I saw their gift shop I had to pop in. They have lots of cute knick-knacks and souvenirs. Some for California in general and a lot of novelty items for Weed, CA specifically. The women running the shop when I stopped in were very friendly and outgoing, making us feel welcome and comfortable. This store is exactly what people want to see when they come to weed, CA. Regardless if you are ok with the use of it or not this little store is great. Stacey the guy at the front desks keep the store clean and smelling of fresh peppermint. I love the fact that you can talk and ask questions without feeling like a tourist. He sure talked my dad up today! I will definitely come back to visit when I pass through again one of these days. They sell all the gift shop items you can think of from post cards, pens, tshirts, hoodies, beanies, hats, shot glasses, containers, pictures of the old signs, glass containers, lighters, pencils, key chains, wallets and more. We stopped in the cute little town for our daughter of 23 years old. The guy running this store is wonderful. He wished us happy Anniversary. Cause this is our once a year trip we take for anniversary. Things are reasonably priced. And impeccable service.
