The sound was quite loud for a bingo game. I am sure they are good for a band. The had a good selection on tap and ample seating. There was an area in back we did not get to see. The Mercury does not serve food, but they are connected to Oscar's pizza and the delivery to your table. The Mercury has a very full schedule of events. The community I've seen and met who accumulate at this concert club are all genuine, caring and kind people, I haven't witnessed any disrespect or angry disputes. This club makes me feel part of the scene knowing that I am in a safe accepting little family! the food is amazing as well, I crave their loaded fries oh gosh so good!!! Standing room can get pretty packed but there is usually space in the back to get some extra breathing room. The drinks at the bar tend to be a bit pricey but what you'd typically expect from a concert venue. The drink selection is fine - I would prefer more craft beer options but they do carry PBR which I enjoy from time to time. They also have some food options more than just popcorn and pretzels. This venue donates proceeds from the bar to The Music Settlement, which has a music school for children, as well as music therapy. What an awesome cause, and a great intimate space to see a show. There are maybe about 15 tables that seat 4 in front of the venue, and you can also sit at a bar that lines the back of the room. Right now they are looking for a new kitchen vendor, so it's drinks only and no food. We had a great time, and would definitely recommend this venue.
