Or treasures from their garage, or basement, or storage unit, or deep in their closet bowels, etc. :-) It is basically a well-organized, well-curated yard sale, but inside and from many households. I don't imagine most people shop here looking for a super-specific item. It is more for browsing and discovering that thing or gift you didn't know you needed. Generally you will find here a variety of collectible items like sports cards, movie and TV memorabilia, autographed items, decorative trinkets and antiques, jewelry, vintage toys, board games, video games, DVDs/BluRays/CDs, some books, some apparel, some kitchenwares and glassware, and lots of other odds-and-ends, big and small. The store is organized into various cases and shelves, each section belonging to a particular seller who has displayed their goods for sale. Some cases are locked, and friendly staffers will take out anything inside that you want to inspect more closely. I happen to know that Santa shopped here for me this year. He purchased for me a set of three He-Man figurines, and also an autographed Seinfeld postcard, signed by Jason Alexander (i.e., George Costanza). Santa knows that I am 80s-and-90s-obscessed for life. ;-) Recently I went to the mall and stopped in to peruse the selection myself. There were all sorts of impulse-buy-goodies that tempted me, but I limited this trip to just a couple of DVDs I couldn't pass up, totaling $4. My husband bought an elephant figurine for a gift, and a set of Zelda-themed Uno cards. His purchase was under fifteen bucks. Prices here are pretty reasonable for much of the inventory, but of course can be more expensive for highly collectible, higher value items. I don't have details on being a seller here, but my husband has been in many times and chatted with staff, and I do know there is usually a waiting list for seller spaces. What's in Your Attic has this location at McKinley Mall, and another at Eastern Hills Mall. It is well worth the time to stroll their aisles, peruse their treasures, and maybe even take something home and give it a new life outside of an attic.

A live auction of multiple glass collections was occurring in a large area in the back of the store. It looked like they would be there all day until I heard the auctioneer rattling off the items. He sold 3 items in less than 5 minutes. Seventy different vendors showcase their collections. It is obvious that the store's owner has high presentation expectations. You can see each item in display cases. The store isn't cluttered or smell musty. The store doesn't accept AE and I didn't have a check. The store owner called the vendor who accepted Paypal. The vendor delivered my purchase to my hotel. I spent about an hour wandering through this store ... delightful.

1/29/22 I have been…read morea repeat customer, until today. The regular check-out associate, Harvey, didd SSD played such a nasty disposition, that my experience was honestly one of disgust. I have never seen such, nor have I ever experienced a nasty, unfriendly, unprovoked character in any shop before. We all the peculiar things that we do; I like odd pieces, and I love just the right book. Well, today- my last- I found a small book with of. course, small print. I was using my phone to check/cross reference if this item was what I was looking for. Harvey rushed me in my time to decide whether or not I wanted to buy the book:"Do you want it?" . He not only asked me three times, but he has told me, "I give you five minutes, then I'm putting' back in the case!". He carried himself in a most disrespectful, impatient, nasty, wretched way, and perhaps even, with racial animosity. To be forward, he is never much better toward me, always unwelcoming, unfriendly, and never a human smile. In fact, whatever his issue, he even expressed: " You do it all the time. No one else does it." whatever is he talking about? like any other, I browse the msny items on site, curious about some, not most, but a customer as any other;though, not white/European descent. in fact, I'm a mom, grandmother, educated, and a teacher. I'm sorry but, Harvey , was truly an embarrassment for the establishment or any other place/people of decency. He was the lowest I have experienced personally- a nasty character for such a public facing enterprise.
